Q: For the Workforce WF-100, does all the colors run out at the same time in the tri color ink?
A: Yes, the color cartridge is separate from the black cartridge and the epson wf-100 makes you stop printing when any one of the two cartridges needs to be replaced in the machines opinion. I have no idea if all the colors have run out when the wf-100 decides to stop printing until cartridge replacement. The Epson WF-100 is an awesome little printer and prints faster plugged in than just on battery power (about 1/2 the speed) but the ink cartridges are really spendy because I probably only get about 150-200 pages before I need to switch. I think it costs me around 20 cents per page. But for the work I do in the field, it is really handy and prints good pictures.
