This is basic black ink compatible with certain Epsom printers. Based on the price, compared to other black ink from Epsom and other brands, it seems likely that the printers that it works with are fading into obsolescence. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that the printer I inherited does not work--but at no fault of the ink. Time for a new printer.

This ink has very nice print quality. Always looks good and the cartridges are easy to use. Have tried comparable cheaper products, and sometimes they work alright, but sometimes they are terrible. The last cartridges I installed leaked badly and left smudges on the papers. I had to take them out. What a mess.The Epsom ink cartridges are pricey, but they always install cleanly and print beautifully.

The ink cartridges are easy to install, never messy when inserted into printer and dry immediately, so nothing ever smears on your paper.

True color, easy to remove cartage and just as easy to replace. Able to purchase individual color or a pack of colors. All cartage's are sealed for protection.

As a user of an Epson Stylus CX4800 printer, I find myself regularly replacing the ink cartridges, particularly the black cartridge, in what amounts to a legacy system (it's quite old, at least ten years). Fortunately, Epson continues to support their older hardware with supplies such as this. Text and graphic details stand out most impressively when printing goes normally, though with an older printer such as the CX4800 anything is possible. Not so much a recommendation as it is a requirement for those printers that still exist, and make use of these cartridges.

I purchased Epson - 60 Ink Cartridge - Black ink for its good quality but it is on the pricy end of the spectrum for which I will give it 4 stars.

Good quality, use many years and never had problem with my printer. But it is pricey.

I like the ease of use in replacing the Epson Ink cartridges. The print quality is good, too. The price per cartridge seems a little high compared to the initial price for the printer itself.

Still carried by Best Buy for my older ink jet! I like to use ink recommended for my printer rather than messing with refilling cartridges. I do recycle the cartridges; I don't just toss them in the trash.

The Epson line of printers and ink cartridges are top of the line in my opinion. Whether printing just black line work or in color, you get a good quality document.

Epson ink is a quality product at a reasonable price. The black ink used in combination with multi-colored cartridges produce clear and vibrant copies.

I have an Older Model Epson Printer ( CX4800 ). SO, glad Best Buy still makes these ink cartridges available for this older printer. I'm hoping other owners of this printer will discover that they are available for their use as well. I purchased my Epson Printer from Best Buy years ago and it is still functioning perfectly. I only had to download new Drivers for WINDOWS 7 directly from Epson when I updated from WINDOWS XP. I hope Best BUY continues to carry these ink cartridges because our EPSON CX4800 Printers are not obsolete. The price was cheaper too.

I was so happy to find the black ink in the store. Not many stores have this ink now and i needed it the day I was there.

Since black is usually the most used, it is very convenient to be able to just buy that cartridge. It installs very easily and works every time.

Have bought after market cartridges in past and none ever worked as well as the original mfgrs. such as these

I have been using Epson Ink for a few years and have never had a problem. I would recommend it to anyone.

on the expensive side so will 'join' the monthly ink program with a new HP printer, saves about $1k/yr

This ink cartridge always works like a champ and seems to last forever before having to replace it.

OEM cartridge is the way to go if money is no object. Beats the off brand generics hands down.
