Great Ink
Can't say enough about the Epson ink. I had to produce some printed cds & cases for a client who was going on tour. The high yield ink helped me get the project done on time and with excellent contrast reproduction. A real life saver!

Easy change of cartriges, good printing quality...
While the ease of use and quality is good, the cost of ink is expensive and cost prohibitive. If your printing needs are primarily black and white, laser is a more economical choice. Depending on frequency of use, having an Epson color printer on stand-by for occasional use is a cost effective and convenient option for small office projects jobs or home use.

Works as advertised
One of the reasons I bought an Epson printer is the separate ink tanks. It's probably cheaper in the long run to buy the multi pack, I usually buy what I need. Epson makes a great product.

High yield worth the money
I've used the "standard" ink and the High Yield is a better bang for your buck. As in other review for color package, BestBuy price match Amazon and saved me some $$. Thanks!

Is the Epson 98 Black High Capacity cartridge the same size as the one that comes in the multi-pack? I am wondering if high capacity means thicker container as well as more ink.

The Epson - 78 Ink Cartridge – Black works in the Artisan 50 printer. Why doesn't the Epson - 98 High-Yield Ink Cartridge – Black work in the Epson Artisan 50 printer? I would really like to buy and use the higher capacity cartridge to reduce cost.
As far as I know each Epson Artisan printer uses a different number ink cartridge. I have an Epson Artisan 810 and the only ink cartridges that can be used in it are the Epson 99 standard capacity and the Epson 98 high capacity cartridges. My sister has a different Epson Artisan and it uses different number cartridges. I suggest you check your user manual to see what ink cartridges should be used in the Artisan 50 printer.

Will this ink replace HP 98?
I would be surprised if it did because this product is for an Epson printer. Normally inkjet cartridges from different manufacturers are not interchangeable.

Yes, I have used this ink with Copic markers. I use regular cardstock.
