Specs
I went through the setup process, finished with an all good message. But my ET-3958 won't scan. When I try, it says to install ScanSmart, which I have done. I try using the wizard, I type my CORRECT wifi password and the display says it's the wrong pw.

When you scan a document, where does it go? Do you have to input an email each time or is there a default setting where scans can be sent? Thank you
Answered by EpsonHello Cullen. Depending on the device you are using, you can save a scanned document to your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You don't have to input an email address to scan an image, and you can choose the file location before processing the scan. If you're looking to scan to email from a computer, the ET-3958 can scan an original and attach it to a message in your e-mail program, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mac Mail, Windows Live Mail, and Entourage. As an additional option, you can set up Epson Connect services on the printer, which allows you to print and scan documents using a registered e-mail.
