Epson easy Epson excellence! In a world where printers are achieving parity, the ET 5850 seamlessly installs updates and works as you would expect. Any other feature, you wish to find tune and customize for your computer is easily done with Epson install instruction. And in the short and long run, the Eco tank feature will be less pennies on the dollar to to print. With the purchase of this printer, I replaced a large older workforce model which operated wonderfully till I decided to upgrade to the Epson 5850, the evolution to a smoother. better print.

WOW! This epson printer is the fastes priner i have ever seen. It actuall prints 25 pages B&W per minute. It takes a to. Of ink and you can use bottles ink (use you own discretion on aftermarker and research a little) not those overpriced cartridges that cost $100 per cgange. The qualitt is extremely good considering speed and you can adjust quality to save ink. It will print thick stock and has a pullout in back for “other” non standard sizes and envelopes. It is expensive i will not say it’s cheap but my last printer worked for 10 years on aftermarket refilks and when it finally quit i figured i would spend the money snd get the best i could afford. It is siper easy to set up and get running. Oh one thing to consuder is it is not huge bit its bigger than an average priner and taller.

This is a quality Epson all in one printer with several PROs and a few CONs; PROs: easy setup, fast printing, auto output tray (automatically extends when printing), easy to use touch control panel, produces high quality color prints and photos, does not use ink cartridges, has a large capacity ink tank that holds up to 2 years worth of ink (ink comes with the printer) / CONS; difficulty setting up wireless connection, wireless connection sometimes fails to automatically connect when turning printer on (have to constantly manually reconnect wireless function), printer model seems to only come in a white (no black model available) . Hopefully there’s a fix for the wireless connection problems, but overall this is a quality printer that I recommend.

Simply the best printer I have purchased and used to date. Quick, efficient, and quiet. The cost savings one gains from this printer are much more then the purchase price,

Love this printer! I’ve had a lot of printers over the years. Mostly inexpensive ones and they did ok but were painfully slow at times - especially making copies. The last straw was copying a contract for a client - Only four pages but took forever. So I bit the bullet and decided to spend a little more for the features this one has. Wow! It spits out documents like a fire-breathing dragon! And the large ink tanks last a long time. A wonderful, fast printer and copier.

I really, really liked this printer, especially for printing photos!! However, it had several glitches from the start- and never seemed to work totally smooth, which was annoying but I tolerated it, because when it did work it was great! And I chalked it up to being so advanced..?.. mmmm who knows? Finally there was an issue that I could not fix and needed to bring it to Best Buy under my total tech support membership. Well, lo and behold Geek Squad couldn’t figure it out either (go figure), and the only Epson like mine that they had left in the store was an open box, which I didn’t care, I just wanted it, but they wouldn’t sell it to, or exchange mine for it! That didn’t make sense to me, especially if they were discontinuing the model!! I was not pleased. I tried another Epson which I couldn’t stand, and brought back immediately!! My only other option at the time that was remotely similar to my ET- 8550, was the Epson ET-8500, which is very similar but only missing one or two features, which tho nice to have - I don’t know if I ever even used them, so it wasn’t a huge deal to me. The ET -8500 seems to be Moores problem free, a bit smaller and lighter and just as good quality. Overall I’m pleased.

So far so good haven’t really had much of a problem with it yet. Print quality hasn’t failed me yet, it’s clear, no connectivity issues, copy and printing speed is really fast compared to previous printers I’ve had. It is pretty big for my liking but all in all great for office uses and has all the features I want and need it for, I would recommend if you’re thinking about this printer, I wouldn’t look further.

The Epson-EcoTank Pro ET-5850 is the perfect printer for my everyday needs as a teacher and private tutor. It makes great single and double-sided copies, whether on printer paper or cardstock. I love the economy of the liquid ink versus the high cost of cartridges! I make a considerable number of copies. This printer provides everything I need and more and pays for itself compared to cartridge printers I have used in the past!

The Epson ET-5850 is a super awesome printer! It's really good at making prints that look just like my artwork. The colors are bright and the details are clear. I use it for my midjourney artwork, which is when I'm in the middle of my artistic journey and making cool stuff. The printer can handle different kinds of paper and it has a tray that can change sizes, so I can print on different things. It's also easy to connect to my r phone, so I can print from anywhere. I use a lot of ink for my art, so this is perfect

We are loving our new printer and even gave it a name- Gerald! Gerald is easy to work with and has been economical. It will be two months this 15th and so far no issues. We are hoping that it will be durable and would last us for years.
This is a beast of a printer. It definitely has everything I want in a printer. I know it has more to offer, but for what I need it for, I am satisfied.

Purchased this printer for our business. It really does it all and at a very fast speed. We were most excited to ditch the cartridges and go with the tank. Picture quality is also very nice! Will be a great fit for us.

Worst printer in the history of two tray printers. It cuts pages off, does not switch between the pages for legal and letter. No way to fix it, I am going to upgrade to the 5880 what does what I need it to do. This printer does print color very fast, but that is about the only thing going for it. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

This is the worst printer I’ve used. Remember the movie Office Space? This is that printer. It constantly has a “paper jam” when there’s no jam. I don’t mean it “sometimes” does it, it does it every other page, like clockwork. I tried to return it but it’s 3 days past the return window.

I've used my 5850 for one month. I used most features and they worked great. Duplex (two side) printing and scanning with different paper sizes all worked to my satisfaction. Print quality was good - but I have not run photo quality paper through yet. I deviated from the install guide by using only one set of ink bottles rather than using two and having leftover ink. After charging the ink tanks are all about half full and I will fill with the extra bottles as needed. My few complaints. One, trying to figure out where to put an envelope in the rear feeder was really confusing. Once I got it, it printed envelopes perfectly. Two, there are a lot (about 20) of packing tapes to remove. Take your time to find and get them all. Three, I decided to not use Wi-Fi to connect to my router but to use wired ethernet. I have had problems with dropped connections with Epson printers that idle to sleep - could be my router but I did not want to deal with it. I was shocked to find the ethernet connection was 10BASE-T, the slowest ethernet connection used years ago. Surely Epson could do better. The good news is it is reliable at a leisurely 10 mbps pace and has not dropped out. Four, the current scanning software does not seem to have as many options as my previous version when it comes to scanning, such as saving as a searchable PDF file. Yes it has a few nits but overall it seems like a teriffic printer. Have not run any large projects that have 30 plus pages to feed so I cannot comment on that. I do use thicker paper so no jams yet. Previous Epson was very reliable when feeding paper. I would buy this tanker again!
