This projector is super bright with great picture quality. I’ve tested the projection distance and it can project 50’+ and covers a huge area for projection mapping! It’s like having a drive in movie in my own backyard. Works well with my laptop and phone through the HDMI input. Wi-Fi connection to phone works for looking at photos. Long wait for availability, but a newer version may be available now.

We purchased this projector for our church gym, and I was initially hesitant about using any projector in there due to the brightness of the room. But this projector looks great even with all the lights on. We don't even need to use it at full brightness and the color contrast is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid projector at a mid-range price.

A powerfully bright, high-resolution LED picture without the heat of a traditional projection system. Unboxing: Well-packed, encased in a Styrofoam frame. Simple packing, one small bag of papers (one-sheet quick start guides, a couple of info sheets) – low paper waste. The complete user guide is available online, which I did access – it’s comprehensive. The projector came packed in a padded nylon carry/transport case – a nice, unexpected touch which makes it easily portable (I will be using mine outside occasionally for backyard movie nights). Two AAA batteries were included for the remote control. No HDMI cable was included, but with so many input options, that’s understandable. Speaking of inputs, there are 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port, USB-B, Composite video (RCA jacks), so plenty of interface options. I used my Kindle Fire Stick in the HDMI port to kick off my first viewing. Picture: easy to calibrate with a couple of onboard trapezoidal adjustments, and manual focus and zoom dials. Powerful! LED system. At 11’ distance, the EX10000 casts a 9’ x 5’ image at 16:9 aspect ratio with the manual zoom dial decreased by about 25%. I couldn’t increase the distance to my screen due to space limitations but there was plenty of brightness and sharpness to go at least 20 feet. Even with pic adjustments, there is a bit of a blue backglow on images but not distracting. The onboard speaker is crisp for vocals and some background music but if you’re watching movies like we are, external speakers are the way to go. I used the standard 1/8”- 3.5mm stereo headphone jack for my sound bar. Epson iProjection App. I scanned the QR code on the Quick Start guide which took my phone to the download page. Worked fine on my iPhone XR work phone and Motorola 5G Ace personal phone to project Youtube and other images nicely. Overall: No more expensive skin-searing bulbs, no need to kick on the A/C in our TV room from hellish heat output. We are remodeling and this is the perfect addition. So far so good. The projector is very bright and has been rock solid in terms of hdmi connectivity. It's a little loud but not more so than other projectors. I have a very bright basement and this looks great even in the day time with the curtains OPEN. The controls for throw distance let me mount this in a spot for a 106 inch screen and then with an adjustment I was able to switch out the screen for a 125 inch screen WITHOUT moving the mounting point of the projector. This is my third Epson and my first with a laser light source.

I use this for teaching CPR courses off campus from the fire station, It throws a great picture in a well lit room. I tried several different connections just to see how they worked, wireless was simple to connect and did a great job. Then tried both the HDMI and USB connections with great results from both. I like not having to worry about how bright a room is going to be to do my training in. I can recommend this projector without any reservations. It does a really good job.

Picture is bright, sharp, and the color is surprisingly very accurate to the colors on the laptop sending the signal. Like not having the old bulb technology that you had to cool down before moving. Purchased for our church and even though it's not a long throw projector, it still works very well off a cart projecting to a screen about 10' high and about 20' away.

No issues, very clear and sleek. Worth the price and the investment

This is the first projector I have personally owned. I was skeptical of what to expect due to my limited exposure to friends with projectors. I expected low light, dullness of picture and lack of clarity. My fears were quickly put to rest. Incredibly crisp, clear image with vivid and seemingly accurate color right out of the box. And this is bright! My viewing environment is a basement with limited light. Even with the lights on, the picture was clear and I had to do a double take to ensure this was a wall screen and not an LCD. After focusing and adjusting for the size of my room, I was shocked at how nice the image was. I have color approval training in my day job and was able to view RGB targets with a surprising accuracy. I also expected to hear more of the fan noise and heat than I did. Eventually this will mount from the ceiling and there should be very little interference from that. GREAT PICTURE, IS EASY TO USE, CEILING MOUNTED MINE. LOVE IT

With some video adjustments this projector is awesome for using outside even in moderate sunshine. I also love the idea of having a laser bulb with a long life span.

Love it, but Epson skip thier high standard on the front foot adjusting device. Made out of cheap thin plastic which broke off on the second day of use. I don't want to take a chance of shipping it back due the more damage during shipping. Not worth the risk.. Perfect color, perfect picture. Love it bedides the foot adjustment on the front.

Great quality and good for hosting movie nights, a must have for hosting parties or game nights.

We needed a new projector for our office and this had the highest lumens out of all of them including a lot of the 4K projectors out there. Like all good projectors, the picture quality is great when the lights are down. But when the lights are on, the CLEAR picture quality is very noticeable. Worth the cost in my opinion.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Excellent picture. Wireless capabilities are a plus.

Great compact powerfull projector. Promoted as a portable and comes with padded carry case, however works great in a ceiling mounted configuration. Several screw points provides for various mounting hardware types/brands. One important note is that it does not have a 12v trigger output for operating electric screens. Using a 5v USB to 12v DC adapter in one of the 2 USB ports will serve the same function though.

Purchased this unit to use in a room that has some ambient light. Description stated it is designed for this type of environment. However, did not work in the room set-up. I think it is a good product, but need way less light that what I had.

Installed in a classroom. Great picture and easy to setup.

Bought two for a Church and they work really well! Super bright, perfect for a church that wants to use their projector with the lights on!

Excellent product, exactly what we needed to replace the old unit. The laser is much brighter than the old lamp. Works perfectly with the wiring we had and with the old attachment pole in the ceiling
