A: Yes, it works with Mac.
A: Yes you can watch videos with this projector. Picture looks nice, but sound is just out of a little built in speaker. I was able to run audio out by purchasing a $30-$40 HDMI to HDMI + Audio Extractor. I play videos with a fire stick which has HDMI port. Haven't tried a Blu-ray player, but should work the same through the HDMI port.

A: I mounted this unit on the ceiling at our church to replace old unit. Works great, brighter than our last unit. We are very pleased with it.
