Very well made easy to use. Would suggest purchasing the hard wire kit as well to be able to hide your wire to make it look nice.

The radar detector is great but the camera video quality is poor. There are much better video quality camera out there to be had for about the same price, with more features.

I hate to give this kit such a bad rating, but don't have a choice after both died after less than two years of use. I've been using Escort radar detectors for decades and they are typically top-notch quality, lasting for many years. You usually end up upgrading well before they fly off to car heaven. I can't help but wonder if the low quality is due to them being owned by the VC holding company that bought/owns Cobra and more recently Uniden, and is putting profit above Escort's once excellent quality and reliability. Not at all pleased both died so quickly and at the same time. While these were working, the detector was very good. Excellent range, few false readings and it learned your driving areas well. Loved the magnetic mount for being able to remove the detector with ease and it stayed on the window very well. The camera was not quite as good, it records well, but quality isn't good enough to capture plates unless you're really close. Overall video quality was very good. Would be better if it took larger than a 30GB microSD. Be forewarned, the camera is notorious for lots of bugs and fails frequently. The mount portion for the camera sucks, it loosens up all the time, so you spend a lot of time fiddling with its orientation and tightening it back up. Plus you can't remove the camera from the mount without taking the whole mount off - which is just an idiotic design oversight in general, but especially if you want to protect from it being stolen. I would not recommend either of these products.
