A: VG-2 equipment detects low frequency signals "leaking" from some radar detectors. You are good the Max is undetectable by VG-2. Firmware updates (there have been several already) are free. They are currently on 1.8. You will use Escort "detector tools" software to do this. You can use PC or Mac.
