It took a while to adjust to this item. It fell out of my ear a number of times (and still does). The batteries only last a short while and there is a whistling/ whining noise that I get when it is working. It affords some amplification but not enough to warrant the price and quality of this item. I was (and ) disappointed and would not recommend to anyone else to purchase this.
