Q: Does it require a subscription? Thx
A: No, just downloading the App.
A: It is supported a few ways to unlock the door: fingerprint, password, eufy Security App, key, voice unlock with Alexa or Google Assistant. It can store up to 100 users with different passcodes and up to 50 fingerprints.
Q: Do we need any external storage device or cloud space to store the videos??
A: The videos and clips are stored locally with SD card. Be noted that the SD card needs to be purchased separately.
Q: Is there any option to control remotely, while wifi connection dies?
A: If the Smart Lock E330 with Chime WiFi loses its Wi-Fi connection, remote control is not feasible. However, you can still unlock and lock the door via the Bluetooth functionality using the eufy app, as Bluetooth operates independently of Wi-Fi. This enables you to control the lock remotely when you are within Bluetooth range (up to 70 meters).
Q: How often we have recharge the batteries
A: The Video Smart Lock E330 is powered by a 10,000mAh rechargeable battery that lasts approximately 120 days on a full charge, based on an average of 10 lock/unlock events and 10 motion detection events per day. When the battery is almost out, it transitions to a low-power mode, extending functionality for up to an additional 30 days. The lock provides a voice prompt alerting you when the battery is low and needs a recharge.
Q: Does the chime have an SD slot for external memory?
A: The chime included with the Smart Lock E330 does not have an SD slot for external memory. However, the storage system of the E330 Video Smart Lock depends on the connection method: The lock has built-in 8 GB eMMC storage for local data storage when connected via Wi-Fi. When connected to a MiniBase Chime or HomeBase 3, event and video data are stored on the respective connected device. External memory via an SD card is not supported.
Q: How is the E330 different from the S330?

Auto-Lock Feature: S330: Uses a smart auto-lock with a built-in door sensor to automatically lock when the door is closed. E330: Features a countdown timer for auto-lock functionality.
