Many years ago I had a small refrigerator in my car (from one off the on-line electronics catalogue stores), and I thoroughly enjoyed the convenience and when I saw this one, I knew it was time again Picked this up at the local BB even though I have never heard of the brand - the price was right The box itself was not too heavy for me to lug to teh car, and it fit easily in the back seat Unboxing was uneventful and instructions were not necessary Included in the box is a AC wall plug where I precooled the refrigerator and the contents overnight. I also included a few "blue ice blocks" just in case. The packaging said that it can cool to 4F, but I was worried more about stops I moved it to the car, since this can easily hold a 12-pack, and I didn't want to have any issues Once loaded in the car, I did strap it down then plug it in the 12v DC included lighter outlet The sound is very low and really inaudible when the car is running It kept my food and drinks ice cold for a roadtrip and the convenience was a huge benefit Overall it worked perfectly on my first use, and it will become a staple for any trip where I want to bring cool/cold food and drinks I would definitely recommend this to others with the same need
