I remember times when I would make a trip to store for a styrofoam box, filling it up with ice and driving down the road listening to it's squeaking 'eek, eek, eek' for miles... yikes... moved onto cooler box, then peltier cooler (which killed my battery more than once if I forgot to unplug it)... finally I decided to pull trigger on a car fridge... Decided on Euhomy 53qt after a lot of research, especially if it will fit in my trunk... and here we go, it fits excellent under the privacy cover (I have CX-5 and Equinox, which is the most common size of the SUV today), roughly the same size as my peltier Coleman, it is extremely quiet (I can barely hear it with car off, actually it is quieter than the peltier), cools really quick and here comes the bonus, monitoring and setting it up with phone app (keep in mind, it is Bluetooth based, so you have to be within the range), and battery protection to prevent the surprise of dead battery in the morning... oh, the lid is reversible, so it can open left or right - it takes all of 30 seconds to swap it... excellent product, now I take it shopping to drop in my perishables in, so I do not have to hurry home, and can't wait to take it for a road trip. Warning, it uses 3rd party app and you will need to use qr code on the fridge to download compatible app and please remember if it was tilted vertically or laid on the side, it MUST remain in it's correct position for 24 hours to let compressor oil to settle...

I took a shot on this powered cooler and it is amazing!!! The app was so easy to setup and use and everything is at your fingertips for controlling temperature, on/off, etc. DEFINITELY read the manual for it has a few tips to help life expectancy, like do not flip upside down and leave it, etc. It is so quiet when operating you really don't even notice it. I plugged it in inside my home, set temperature to 50 degrees and it didn't take it 10 minutes. Then i set it down to 20 degrees and got there in just a few minutes. This is literally straight out of the box!!! Very clever design, light inside, reversible lid, and other amenities to make this an all around great product. Definitely recommend and I'm buying another one!!

I’m very happy with this 53 QT Euhomy portable refrigerator. It has plenty of space for drinks, food, and snacks, and it cools down quickly and keeps the temperature consistent. The unit feels well built, runs quietly, and is easy to operate. The size is especially convenient for road trips, camping, or keeping extra cold storage in the car. Despite its large capacity, it’s still practical to transport and fits nicely in an SUV or truck. This portable refrigerator is spacious, cools down quickly, and is very easy to use. I love being able to control the temperature from my phone through the app. We’re going camping soon, so this will be perfect for keeping our food and drinks cold throughout the trip. The 53QT size holds plenty, making it a great choice for camping, road trips, and family adventures. I’m very excited to use it on our upcoming trip!

I purchased this for my Airstream Interstate Grand Tour twin as a back up when the onboard refrigerator stopped working just before a 28 day road trip. This unit worked flawlessly. Best $200 I've spent lately. Will take this along on car trips as well. No more watery ice for me! From 68 to 30 degrees in about 15 minutes.

I fill this up with water when I start to brew beer. I set it to the lowest setting. When it comes time to cool the wort, I have a fountain pump recirculate cold water through the condensing coil in the wort. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get the wort down to yeast pitchable temps! This is way cheaper than a glycol chiller! Happy Brewing

This car frig really works great.it gets down to temperature quickly whether plugged in to 12 volts or 110 volts and it's very quiet. My only complaint is that the numeric display is very dim and can't be read in sunlight so I mainly use the app to see the display more clearly.

I love that you can regulate the cooler from your phone. It quickly cools to the temperature you set it to. The products that we freeze do happen to get moisture and makes the boxes soggy unless we freeze everything in the cooler. My husband is an OTR driver and it has been useful for him to store extra food so he doesn't have to eat out as much.

I was quite surprised with how well this works. It kept everything from my move across the country frozen solid. And now it's being used as a temporary fridge while my fridge is getting fixed. I would buy this again if I ever needed one. It's so easy to use and works amazing. I love how it works for both could and frozen items.

Love this cooler! It works great and is good piece of mind when glamping! I think it would be great for picking up larger loads of refrigerator items on a hot day and getting them home! It's attractive. It's a bit heavy but now excessively so when empty.

While this is a big cooler refrigerator it kept the correct temp all the way on 300 mile trip. It kept a 10 inch buttercream cake in perfect condition in hot weather. I wish it had wheels and an extendable handle like other models.

Can't give five stars without knowing how well it will last. Comes with a 1 year warranty. Really deep food area. Cooled down rapidly, as advertised. This is not for the backseat, but will likely fit most trunks.

I am a trucker full time so i need something reliable to keep my food fresh and safe to eat all week long! This cooler exceeded my expectations `10 fold the cooling power and the amount of space available to fit anything from drinks, food snacks and ingredients makes this a win/win scenario.

I really like this portable refrigerator. I have it on my office to cool drinks or keep my lunch cool. You can set it to cool or freeze. it is quiet. Since there is no fan it will not cool things really fast but it will cool them and keep them cool.

this fridge made life so much easier on the road for 45 days while visiting usa no ice to mess around with, soggy food or broken cooler best priced and awesome product.

When first turning on, the temperature came down to freezing within 1/2 hour. I use as an extra freezer. So so good and tge app works great.

a bit large for a car but plenty of room inside. quiet and cools quick. don't need a smart phone to use. a storage compartment would be nice for the power cables.

A little bigger than I thought, but cools quickly and is perfect for our road trips. Just enough room for all that we need. Highly recommended!!!
