The fact that the soft texture absorbs a bit of the drink's flavor is the best part! The machine starts dropping nuggets into the basket pretty fast—I see the first ones form within about 7-10 minutes—which is great when I just want a quick glass. I appreciate the 35lbs/24H capacity; while it’s not instant, if I let it run for an hour or two, I can fill up a few bags of ice to keep in my freezer, ensuring I always have a big stash ready for entertaining. Noise, Cleaning, and Maintenance This is where the personal experience really matters. When I first plugged it in, I was a little worried because it was quite loud—a noticeable grinding/whining sound. However, I read advice from other users and immediately ran the Auto-Cleaning cycle a couple of times with distilled water and a bit of cleaner (vinegar or bleach works). That made a HUGE difference. Now, it runs quietly, producing just a steady fan hum and the gentle clinking of ice dropping, which is easily ignorable in the kitchen. The Auto-Cleaning function is a lifesaver for maintenance; I run it regularly to keep the machine hygienic and prevent issues, and I highly recommend using distilled water to avoid hard water scaling. Design and Final Verdict The black design is sleek and compact, fitting neatly on my countertop without taking up too much space. The LED indicators clearly let me know when the ice basket is full or when it’s time to add more water, which is convenient. My only minor complaint, shared by others, is that the basket design can make it a little tricky to scoop the ice right from the bottom edge. This icemaker works exceptionally well for its price. However, I must say that it’s a little noisy, even louder than my refrigerator. Despite this, it makes ice quickly and in good quantities.

Works fast! Ice is a good pellet size, but freezes into clumps and taking a lot of trouble shooting to get a usable system to save ice for later Lots of maintenance requirements. Good for small events, but harder to justify daily use.

I like everything about Euhomy! It's easy to operate, it's quiet! The ice is perfect size and is ready constantly! Love it!

I'm someone who has always loved ice nuggets and loved to chew or eat them. These nuggets are also good for ice shavers to make snow cones. It works pretty quick. Only took a short amount of time for it to start making ice. The sound isn't the loudest, but it also isn't the quietest.
