I bought this along with the top tier and an extra jar set. It wasn't available in store, but I recieved it very promptly. Originally, I had to rotate the top jars to the bottom half way through in order for a more consistent batch and cover it with a large towel. I also omitted the top center jar for better heat circulation. But then I made a cover from insulated window fabric (WarmWindow) and it made a big difference in the consistency of the yogurt between the upper and lower tiers. I have since moved on to using a large bowl instead of the jars, making a bigger batch and straining it to make Greek yogurt, storing it in a large container but then filling the jars for the convenience of taking it to work. Also nice to store it in a large container for making smoothies or large fruit parfaits. Bulky and hard to store if you don't have lots of cupboard space, so i leave it out with my insulated cover on (on top of my 'frig). Overall, very pleased with it's functionality.

I like that this unit provides the environment for the jarred yogurt mixture to become yogurt. The jar lids are easy to use to date the yogurt. 7 Jars is perfect for a week of yogurt.

Very easy to use. Makes excellent yogurt. I also bought an extra set of jars.

I love how you just set it and forget about it and it always turns out great. I also like the lids. You can dial the date on them and keep track of the freshness of the product.

after i got it i was slightly disappointed with this. it does work well. nice looking, was easy to use but beware that the recipe needs adjustment as it make more than the cups will hold.

This device makes it very simple to make you own yogurt. You can use any milk you want (we use Lactose Free 2%).

The yogurt maker is easy to use and makes a delicious product.
