About this product
The Nashville-based artist has been relatively prolific over the past couple of years. There are two previously released albums a collation of three years of sandbox-like explorations on debut Say So, and the more beat-driven synth pop follow up No More Running. She was also included on the Centripetal Force tag's compilation My Body Tis of Thee for pro-choice charity NARAL, alongside the likes of Marisa Anderson and Moon Duo's Vive le Void. Last year she released OFO - a winding 15-minute long track addressing her own obsessive and compulsive behavior - and has played shows with Xiu Xiu, Sun Araw and Lydia Lunch, among others. In May 2018, meanwhile, she co-founded Hyasynth House, an electronic music collective and education centre in Nashville for female, trans, and non-binary artists. On various levels of consciousness, Stars Aligned is a pop-edged modular sprawl that encompasses these past experiences and processes, allied with her own personal emotional and spiritual growth. InchIt's about the truth that is revealed by one's suffering, seeing it as an opportunity for compassion and growth, and focusing on what you want to manifest in the present momentInch she says. InchMy personal experience of grief, love, disappointment, joy, and heartbreak made this album what it is.Inch

Sky vinyl. Since forming in Chicagoland in 2023, New Age Thief - Savarino and drummer Brady Corcoran - have seemingly been on this sort of unavoidable collision course with fate. Joining forces, the pair spent the next two years melding influences both shared (Jimmy Eat World, Basement) and distinct (Savarino's love of nu metal and InchdisgustingInch heavy music; for Corcoran, indie-rock touchpoints like Death Cab for Cutie) into what would become their debut LP, STARS ALIGN. Produced by Brett Romnes (Hot Mulligan, Mom Jeans) across two weeks of 14-hour days and released via Wax Bodega, the album follows June 2024's MEMENTO EP and introduces New Age Thief with a sound that's all at once classic but updated for modern times, reverential for their genre forefathers without being confined to the past. Growing up in a musical family is not uncommon for many emerging artists, but for Meredith Moon, living in the shadow of her father Gordon Lightfoot's spotlight, the expectations were onerous. So for the past decade Meredith kept a low profile, taking time to develop her songwriting, avoiding the Lightfoot association, practicing and performing her songs in folk clubs and online forums incognito, wherever there was an appreciative audience to be found. And there were many. Now signed to the acclaimed Canadian roots music tag True North Records and acknowledging the marketing demands of the music industry, has resulted in the forthcoming global album of Constellations, a 10-song collection that showcases Meredith's unique voice and captivating lyrics, wrapped in an raw neo-traditional folk sound. A five-Time Mariposa Folk Festival performer, hiding her lineage with the simple description as a Inchmulti-instrumentalist songwriter,Inch Meridith's songs are crafted in a true st Album Tracks 1.
