I read the novel of the same title by Laura Lippman last year, and have been patiently waiting the film release. Best Buy was the first place it just showed up on DVD. I hate when things never make it to theaters near me. That usually means something about the film, in this case, it's the content I am sure, it's violent, deeply disturbing, and psychologically complex. It is a must see!

The movie started out a little slow at first, but slowly pulled me in. I like how it made you take sides with off & on with each of the girls before you realized what was really going on.

This movie did not get great reviews but I found it to be very interesting things were never what they seemed to be. Good movie

A well acted and well conceived story. Like any good mystery, things are not always as they seem. You won't find apathy here.
