One of the most critically acclaimed and cherished rock records in Sweden was the debut album from Freedom, the Stockholm band that managed to sound full-fledged and complete at once with their sunny working-class rock.Among the band's biggest fans are The Hellacopters, who handpicked Freedom to play at their party in April 2022.The reference points are many (Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are just two of the many names that usually come up), but no one else sounds like Freedom. All We Are are a global gathering made up of Ireland's Richard O Flynn (drums, vocals), Norway's Guro Gikling (bass, vocals) and Brazil's Luis Santos (guitar, vocals). They met at university in Liverpool, England. Their self titled debut was written in a cabin in the isolated Norwegian mountains, with follow-up sessions in a secluded cottage in North Wales.
