Fallout 4 GOTY edition is the way to go if you want to go back to the world of Fallout. This edition has DLC, and it is good. I went back to play the game a couple of times now. You can't go wrong. Much better than 76

I love the game, it gets 4 stars, but the picture Best Buy displays XBox Series X Enhanced but I received the non enhanced version. Beware!

Most gamers are familiar with the Fallout series and Fallout 4 is a great game with plenty to do and see, especially with the GOTY edition which includes all of the available DLC. The standard edition also provides a lot of things to do, places to go, people to see, mutants to eliminate. The GOTY version will be on sale for the 2017 Black Friday sale so that would be a good time to pick up the complete version which should keep you busy for a really long time. Enjoy!

Great modern Fallout game. Has some interesting concepts and characters. Recommend on a sale. Has all the DLC added in.

The world, exploration, crafting, atmosphere, and story of Fallout 4 are all key parts of this hugely successful sandbox role-playing game. Great new reasons to obsessively gather and hoard relics of happier times, strong companions, and sympathetic villains driving tough decisions make it an adventure I'll definitely replay and revisit. Even the technical shakiness that crops up here and there can't even begin to slow down its momentum.

If you plan on playing all the dlc for Fallout 4, this is the edition to buy, especially when it is on sale. Dlc does come as download codes though and not on disc as Bethesda has traditionally done in the past with GOTY editions.

The opening scene was fun. Surviving the end of the world. Only to see some morons steal your baby! It's on like Donkey Kong!

I mean, it ain’t no skyrim... but let’s be real... whut is?? This game has got that appeal though.... most gamers look at this game like wilford Brimley looks at a jar of mustache wax and a jelly donut.... he gone wake up no toes though!! I’m tellin ya right now they are takin a foot one day. He’s gonna have to hop around with a nickname like willy no toes... I think we can blame fall out 4 ... 5 Star - would buy again!

If you want to get lost in a war torn world then this is the game to get. This goty comes loaded with ALL the dlc. Heads up though, this is a digital code dlc and not on the base game.

The DLC is just a code and not on disc (which is unfortunate) but this is still a much better bargain than buying Fallout 4 and the Season Pass for it separately. You will traverse the wasteland and spend hours completing everything and exploring every nook and cranny.

Long time fan of the series absoultly love this game! Played on PS4 at launch and I can say my xbox experience is far superior in terms of lag and load times. I'm having such a blast exploring through the commonwealth my second play through!

Don’t go outside. There’s monsters and stuff. There’s monsters in this game too. Package includes a shiny disc. The game is actually on there too. It’s enhanced with MacroTransaction technology where you buy one thing and play it.

Been waiting for this since it launched. Now even with Xbox one X enhanced so definitely a no brainer for those who love this kind of game or a rpg and open wold game lover.

I was able to order this game at $15 during the holiday sales. Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition includes all the DLC available with the season pass. It's worth noting that only the base game is on the disc, the downloadable content is on a code you have to redeem. It can be had digitally around the same price directly from the Xbox Store if you prefer.

Excellent base game and complimentary DLCs. It is a fantastic action-adventure shooter, however the game is light on RPG elements which many Fallout fans are looking for. Specifically the Speech skill and skill checks are both rudimentary and unsatisfactory. It can also be very glitchy at times—however the next gen consoles thoroughly remove the performance issues that the current gen has. Overall the game is excellent and provides a massive sandbox for players to explain. The DLC adds more content and new maps to explore, with Far Harbor being one of the finest Bethesda has ever produced.

It was amazing on the PlayStation 4, but seeing it in 4k with HDR on the Xbox One X is a game changer.

At the time of this review, the Fallout 76 debacle is still unfolding. Bethesda has released a hugely bugged game that is apparently about to lead to a class action suit. That's how bad it is. Contrast that to Fallout 4, arguably the finest release in the franchise to date. The game is wholly bug-free and a joy to play. Plus, it has literally thousands of mods available, something that won't be true of Fallout 76 until November of 2019, apparently. Why would you pay more for less? Pick Fallout 4 instead!
