There is never a lack of things to do in this MMO. For people new to FFXIV, spending an addditional $50 to skip ARR and HW and obtain a lvl 60 character will probably be desirable. A downside to that is there is definitely a somewhat steep learning curve to maximizing the potential of each job and skipping all that content will exacerbate that difficulty. Also, this game has absolutely no respect for your time. Many quests require traveling back and forth for minimal rewards. All that being said, I love the mechanics, challenge and beautiful world, lore and music.

Another great expansion to the series. FFXIV is the best Final Fantasy game I have played since FF X. Don't let the monthly subscription bother you, its 100% worth it. Only 12.99 if you do 1 character per world. I sub maybe 3 months out of the year, just because its a fun game.

Great expansion to a great MMORPG. Lots of good content and the new classes are fun. Includes the Heavensward Expansion as well so you only need to buy this. Only downside: You have to play through all of the main story quests from day one to have access to play the new stuff. That's close to 400 quests if you include Heavenwards. Alternatively you can pay $25 to skip all of the story stuff and get to play the new content right away.

This is a game changer. Heavensward was excellent but Stormblood is absolutely amazing. I have put countless hours into this game and plan to keep doing so.

Been playing FFXIV since launch on PS4... happy to say, Stormblood far exceeded my expectations for new content. Just as expansive as Heavensward.

Stormblood im my opinion is one of my favorite expansions to the final fantasy xiv online series. There are two new added classes, the samurai and red mage. Level cap has been moved to 70 with the ability to purchase level 60 auto levels. For example lets say your friends are level 70 and your barely starting out as a first timer at level 1. You can pay an additional fee which i think is $24 to level whatever class you chose to level 60 so that now you dont have such a long climb to catch up. However if your a first timer i dont recommend doing this seeing as how your going to miss out on pretty much most of the story. The graphics are phenomenal and sound quality is beautiful. Lots of character customization is available. There are no new races to play however. Keep in mind that in order to play stormblood will you need to purchase final fantasy a realm reborn and heavensward. Also a square enix account is necessary to play. This is an online only game which requires a monthly fee. I believe i only pay $14.99 a month. The good thing though is it does not require a membership to PlayStation plus in order to play online. If you are a final fantasy fan then this is a no brainer. And if your not i suggest getting the free trial to check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Haven't played since ARR, but have had so much fun playing the new Heavensward content and can't wait to get into Stormblood content. The new classes are great and I' especially enjoying Red Mage. Would recommend to any returning players looking for something to play!

The new content offered in Stormblood greatly enhances the experience for Final Fantasy XIV players. Two new classes in Red Mage and Samurai are unlockable in Ul'Dah and are great to play through the new quests. Highly recommended.

I have to admit that the story for this expansion is amazing so far. There have been some decent gameplay changes that are welcomed. However, once you complete that story... it's more of the same that you have been doing for the last 2-3 years. Grinding the same dungeons for 2015. Very little was added for endgame. Of course more and more content will be trickled out over the months, but definitely not retaining my subscription. Love the game, but it really is something that I will just subscribe to once every 6 or so months as it gets dull after you have caught up with the story... Of course this will leave me undergeared for end game content therefore I won't be able to participate knowing the vile community.

The 2 new classes are really cool, as are the new areas! Only bad thing is the physical copy seems to require disk to play each time
