Only played an hours worth so far but gameplay is simple and can be used with the rod accessory from Labo. The graphics are fine for a switch game and is really a relaxing game when it comes to atmosphere. You click to throw a line out and reel in fish based on a tension bar. There are upgrades for your equipment and different baits for different fish species which has an easy to determine list to know what you need to catch to catch in each different area. (And there are a lot of areas) Overall fun experience for anyone who enjoys a simple fishing game.

There is something so exciting about using the Joy-Cons as a pseudo-fishing rod. The controls in this game handle very well, the graphics are very animated and lively, and I’ve honestly had a great experience with this game. The English translation is poor, but it makes for an added laugh. If you’re even relatively interested in fishing and want a fun, yet challenging game, give this one a try. It’s very much worth the money.
