It's now 2019 and despite being alive way back when I had never actually seen this. I was only familiar with the song. I finally broke down and got it and I have to admit despite being kind of cheesy and a product of its time it was actually a decent movie. I doubt it's much like the comic strip origin or the old movie serials but there are far worse superhero / adventure films out there.

Everyone is Over Acting and they know it and they seem to really be enjoying them selves. Fun to watch.

This is one of the best "worst" movies if the 80's. It doesn't hurt that Queen does the soundtrack!

My husband loves Queen (and by proxy this movie because they did the soundtrack). It's a little dated but still a fun rainy day movie.

Was Weary that I was getting the original FLASH movie with prices on e-bay up to $80.00 or more. If you are a FLASH collector or just a fan of the movie, Best Buy guarantees this is the real thing. Very satisfied and formatted for US players(some Vids on e-bay warn that they are not formatted for US players, or are in portuguese with English subtitles). Will probably order another and put it away as backup. Thanks BestBuy

all time excellent movie loved it sci-fi classic..

When I watched this movie when I was a teenager, I always thought it was enjoyable and cheesy. Now that I am an adult, I find it cheesy and boring. The acting and special effects are just horrible....
