Verdict. The Casetify iPhone 17 Pro Max case is GREAT! I love the texture; it stays in my hands but it still slides easily in my pockets. I LOVE the rotational kickstand (my first one!). I am very impressed about wireless charging through the kickstand ring! And the case seems to be quite rugged. Pro Tip: You should always install a tempered glass screen protector on your phone. This will protect your screen and compliment this case perfectly. First impressions and setup. I wish the instructions said to just force the phone in. I spent about a minute inspecting the case to see if there were multiple pieces that came apart for easy installation. In the end, I just forced the phone in and it worked. I like the texture, it feels rugged, doesn’t slip out of my hands, but also still slides into my pockets easily. The case is harder than I expected and probably won’t bounce of the floor. Design. Some really cool features here. This is my first case with a kickstand, so while I have enjoyed this new convenience, the winning feature is that the kickstand rotates so that I can use the phone on all four edges and at so many different angles… Amazing!! On top of that, the kickstand rings is also MagSafe compatible for charging. It works on all our current wireless chargers. Honestly… I will never go back to a case that doesn’t have this exact functionality (rotating kickstand with MagSafe Charging). I appreciate the added edge around the front screen and the camera area for added drop protection, but I don’t love the way it looks on the rear of the phone. The cutout for the charging port is generous so all my USB-C cables fit (even the one that has a bigger plastic head. Performance. Unfortunately, I did drop my phone a few times since getting the case, and fortunately, the phone did well since it had this case on – no evidence of any damage. The case is rated 3x military grade and protects from more than six-foot drops. The kickstand opens easily, and rotates with four predetermined positions. Things I love: - Excellent rotating kickstand - MagSafe compatible kickstand ring - Military grade - Protects against 6.6ft drops - Rigid back plate Things I don’t love: - This case is wonderful, but if I have to nitpick, I would say that of course if makes your phone slightly thicker, and I think that cases that have the cutouts for the camera and sensors look better than cases that leave that entire area open. Overall, this is a GREAT case, and very likely the only kind of case I will get in the future. I most highly recommend it!

The Force Ring Stand Case by CASETiFY is clearly built to protect the phone that lives in it. The case is rugged, thick, durable, and hard as a rock. Pros: When CASETiFY characterizes this case as "Ultimate" protection - they aren't kidding around. This case is very thick and rugged (also see Cons) and will definitely keep your iPhone or other device proteced. It feels high quality and has a nice grip to it, especially on such a large-screened device. One thing that stands out with this CASETiFY case is the kickstand -- it feels just as rugged as the case itself, something I've always found to be inconsistent with other brands. Others offer a kickstand, yes, but this kickstand feels tough and like it will last for years. The stand also rotates (see photos) so you can use it in portrait, landscape, or any other direction you want to. The rim of the case provides a significant gap between the case and the screen -- excellent for screen protection. Cons - there are three main problems I experienced with this case on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. First, due to the case's durable, tough, and hard material, it is VERY difficult to install (and uninstall if needed). That's both a pro and a con. I also experienced issues with the kickstand being so strong, when I lift it off a wireless charger, the charger comes with it. Finally, and this is nit-picking -- but the packaging was a little overdone. There were plastic wraps upon plastic wraps ... unnecessary for this type of case. Overall, I would give this 4.7 stars if I could break into decimals. For ultimate protection at a high price point, I would say this is a good case, especially for people (my kids!) who aren't as careful with their devices.

It’s a great case that offers excellent protection from bumps and drops. The material is premium and the case is solidly built. The case feels great and it’s not easy to slip when holding the phone. The back window highlights the phone’s color, and the button cutouts add a nice touch. The kickstand is sturdy, durable, and highly functional. The kickstand can rotate in 360 degrees direction, and it works great to sustain the phone in both vertical and horizontal directions. The kickstand occupies phone’s plateau, so using a wireless charger will increase bulk. It’s an acceptable trade-off for my use cases. Wireless charging mostly works. I have one wireless charging dock that's not working well with the case, but the problem doesn't appear to be caused by the case itself because my other wireless charger works well. Overall, this is a great black case that complements the color of my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Pros: Great material Feels great and not slippery Excellent protection from bumps and drops Great functional kickstands Cons: May not work with all wireless charging docks Using a wireless portable charger increases the device’s overall bulk

The Force Ring Stand Case is mostly an excellent case. I do have a few issues with it that I will go through. Feel: Issue 1 - The case is made from a fairly hard plastic. I’ve felt harder, but not much harder. My previous case had a nearly perfect hard rubber feel. The sides of the case do have a slight texture to help prevent slipping. While it helps somewhat, I’ve still had the phone slip out of my hand 2 or 3 times. The shape and size are good, the buttons work well, it doesn’t block any speakers or microphones and the ring is easy to use. The Ring: My favorite thing is the ring and being able to use it as a stand. It’s solid, easy to position and extremely convenient. There are 4 indents that lock it in place. It’s not difficult to turn but it’s got enough friction to keep the ring where you want it. It is very well engineered as a stand. Like the rest of the case, I do wish it was a little softer. If you use the ring for extra grip, it can get a little uncomfortable over time. It’s thin and the edges are not rounded so they can dig into the fingers depending on how you use it. Ease of Installing: It was not very easy to install. Since the corners are hard plastic, they do not bend much. It takes a decent amount of maneuvering and force to snap it on the phone. Getting it off is just as difficult. It really does not like to go past the buttons and as it does, the edges push on the buttons. At least it will be very secure. Charging: I could not get this case to work with any of my Qi chargers. I think the ring keeps it off the surface just enough to prevent detection by these chargers. I had to purchase a MagSafe charger for wireless charging. It works great with MagSafe. I had no clearance issues using any of my USB C charging cables. Look: Looks wise, it’s a fairly simple looking case. No crazy colors or patterns on the black case I have. My only issue is the very white brand lettering around the camera bump. From a distance it can’t be read but it is very noticeable because it is so bright. I do wish the lettering was at least a medium gray. Other Thoughts and my wish list: I’m not sure how well this case can dissipate heat. Part of me wishes the back was aluminum or at least had holes drilled into it to allow heat to dissipate. Solid plastic is typically not great for this. As noted earlier, I wish the sides could be a softer, grippier material. While the hard plastic is good for durability, a grippier material around the perimeter would prevent the phone from dropping as often as I’ve dropped it. My review sounds rough as I have gripes in all the categories. Most are minor. All in all, the basics are solid and the ring is great. This is a solid case that does what it is designed for.

The CASETiFY Force Ring Stand Case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max was just okay for me overall. The ring itself is probably the best part of the case. It feels sturdy and rotates smoothly, so you can use the stand in different positions depending on what you’re doing. I liked being able to prop my phone up vertically or horizontally without having to adjust much. The ring also feels secure when holding the phone, which is nice because the Pro Max is a pretty large device. The case itself feels like decent quality at first, but I’m not completely sold on how durable it would be long term. I tend to drop my phone a lot, and this case feels thinner than I expected for the price point. It doesn’t necessarily feel cheap, but it also doesn’t give me that super protected feeling that I usually look for in a phone case. For lighter everyday use it’s probably fine, but if you’re rough on your phone like I am, you may want something a little more protective. The biggest downside for me is the lack of MagSafe compatibility. I use MagSafe accessories daily, especially my charger, and not being able to use them properly with this case became frustrating pretty quickly. That honestly took away a lot of the convenience for me and made the case harder to fully enjoy. Overall, it has some nice features, especially the rotating ring stand, and the design is clean and functional. I just wish it felt a little more protective and worked better with MagSafe accessories. It’s not a bad case by any means, but for the price I expected a little more.

The CASETify Force Ring Stand case for the iPhone 17 PRO Max is a unique offering that i was excited to test out as i have used a clear case since I owned this phone. If your like me I am partial to certain case designs. I like cases that have some grip to them and will protect them from drops out of my pocket or if i accidently fumble it. This case offers a lot of positive aspects such as the grip, it doesn't feel slick in my hand or feel as though its cheap. Its rigid and thick. Its a little thicker than my normal cases, but that's not a bad thing as i can still grip it. The nice factor for this case it the force ring in the back side that allows you to rotate the stand and prop it up to watch a reel or video or even Facetime. There is a minor OCD drawback i had with this case and its that the flat edge is off centered. I get the design process for it not tipping but it is a little OCD irritant. Overall the case is my new daily case and I have dropped my phone on concrete at work and on tile at home, zero issues with case and phone it protected it ample.

The CASETiFY force ring stand case is a nice durable case to protect your iPhone. The force ring is made of metal and feels very sturdy. It has positive stop points at twelve, fifteen, thirty and forty five that click when you reach one. The ring also has a nice resistance that gives the impression that it will be durable over the long haul. Being metal it also allows you to still use MagSafe while charging. All the buttons are covered except for the camera control button on the side as it has a nice cutout that makes using it easy. When using it in stand mode, the force ring allows for multiple positions. The case has a nice lip that sits just above the screen to protect it, if you drop it on the face. I personally like cases that are very minimal or no case at all, but I also like having a case like this for outdoor activities. Going hiking and mountain biking, there’s just to much of a chance of damage with a minimalistic case when doing those activities. This case balances nicely between the two, not to thin and not a suitcase!

The force ring case by Casetify is actually very nice. There are several things that i really enjoy about the case and very little that i do not enjoy. The very first thing you will notice is that the case is very sturdy and well built. It feels premium unlike the cheap cases you find on discount websites. The plastic is very rigid and the texture offers the perfect amount of friction in your hand. The buttons can be pushed easily and there is an opening for the fingerprint sensor. The back features a rotating ring that can be used as a kick stand in both vertical and horizontal modes. It can also be used to get a better grip on the phone and doubles as the mag safe magnet. This ring is also the cause of the biggest drawback of the case. It prevents the phone from charging on a traditional wireless charger. It will charge on a magsafe magnetic charger, but not on a wireless pad. This is an issue for me as i have more traditional wireless chargers than i do magsafe chargers. The opening for the camera is also more exposed than it needs to be. It is exposed from the camera lenses all the way across to the flash. The case could have offered protection on the space in between. Minor, but most other cases protect this area. Overall i think that this is a very good case. It is made out of recycled materials which i really like. But the lack of traditional wireless charging is a huge minus for me.

Casetify is a favorite cell phone case brand of mine. Their products are long lasting and offer many colors and patterns to personalize your phone. This case comes with a built in ring to use as a stand or assist with holding your phone. It’s also MagSafe so you can magnet it to charge and attach other products that are compatible with this feature. This case isn’t bulky at all and feels protective enough for my phone that I’m not afraid of dropping it. The ring sits flush with the back so there’s nothing to get caught on your pockets. I use it as a kick stand and as support for holding my phone. Some products offer attachments to stick on the MagSafe spot but this one is great because you don’t need to purchase another item to reap the benefits. The ring doesn’t come off which is also nice so there is not a chance of it getting lost. A black phone case is classic, but I would also purchase this case in different colors or patterns. I did not have any issues charging via MagSafe and did not have to buy any other products to use this Casetify case
I like many people try to protect my iPhone with my life so as to not have to pay for repairs. I thought I would give this iPhone case a shot since it has a built in ring stand. I like to watch videos some times and don’t want to have to hold it in my hand for an hour or so. This case is great if that’s your main reason for buying this exact case. It works very well and seems sturdy. You have the ability to rotate the ring stand and that’s probably the best part. Case itself looks nice and is thicker than I like but feels fine in the hand and appears to protect the phone as I have already dropped my phone(slips out of my joggers) often. Buttons are protected nicely and the camera button is left unblocked. Cant say too much and we have all tried hundreds of cases throughout our lives. But I will say it’s nice and bulky and the ring stand is great. My only issue is the camera area is completely exposed and I can tell you for certain that these new iPhone materials do scratch and I don’t feel confident using this case everyday. At home for sure. But out in public I use my full coverage case. Which is fine. I like to switch things up all the time any way. Also the price isn’t unreasonable but I think is a bit high for about 70% coverage in the protection department. But Just just my personal opinion. This might be the best case for you. I still can recommend just be mindful is all I’m saying.

Pretty decent case from a name brand, reputable case manufacturer. I've seen and used a couple Casetify cases in the past as they provide good, seemingly well built cases and this one is no different. The case is seemingly well built. It feels sturdy and isn't too slippery when held which is nice. All the cutouts are good so no issues with cable fitment or anything like that. Protection wise, I think the case is stout enough where it'll protect from pretty much any major fall. The camera lenses have a raised bezel on them so there's room there for protection and the front lip is present so it should spare the screen from direct falls. The MagSafe ring on the back is a niuce touch. For some, it sits elevated from the case. Most other cases have the ring either embedded in the case or it sits flush with the case. Some people might find this ugly but it is what it is. The ring serves as a phone holder as well as phone stand for viewing your phone. Overall, nice little case that offers pretty good protection

Super easy to setup and put a my phone in. Straightforward and does the job. There isn’t a protective screen over the front or camera protection area, but I just purchased a screen shield at the store. It’s lightweight and feels nice in my hands. The buttons are easy to press. It doesn’t have a cover over the charge port. I’ll admit. I’m a bit torn on this. One side it’s nice because I can quickly put the charge cord in it. The other side though I wish there was something so it’d prevent lint or dirt from getting in. I like the ring stand. I find it mostly used when I’m cooking, playing music or if I’m using speaker phone. I can just pull the ring down, and it’ll sit upright. Pros: Lightweight Sturdy Protective Comfortable in hands Kickstand to balance upright Cons: No covering over charge port Overall: I didn’t do too high of a drop test. iPhones are expensive these days, so it’s not worth cracking my screen or camera lenses. This does the job, decently priced and nice looking.

Pretty good case. Seems like it would take a drop and protect the phone.

I love this case! I am currently using the iPhone 17 pro max size and it has been working hard for me. The case looks great and although it’s all black it looks premium. The case is highly protective and has a bump guard around the camera square area on the back of the phone….it doesn’t have covered protection around that area but the bump sticks out to protect it from falls. I typically never drop my phone; however, I actually did with this case and not a scratch on the case or the phone…..even though it was on blacktop. I love the feel the case has amazing grip without being too rough, sticky or even cheap feeling…..a solid case. The covered buttons are easy to click and the action slide button is uncovered but protected all around by the case. The back ring is where this case turns into a winner. I love it! It offers a strong than normal connection to MagSafe items yet items are still easily removable. The ring also folds out to work as a stand and can be rotated to help you view the phone in portrait or landscape. I never knew I need this and it’s so out of the way and slinky built in I don’t notice it’s there when not in use but a game changer at home watching movies or at the desk reading notes. I am confident Casetify is my now my preferred phone case brand. I am not sure how I will live without it! Buy it!

If you live out of airports, rental cars, and hotel desks like I do, your phone case is more than just an accessory, it’s a survival tool. After using the Force Ring Stand Case from CASETiFY, I can safely say it offers style and protection. For starters, this has a really nice mix of robustness with usability. You’re getting a thinner profile, about 2.5mm, so it doesn’t feel like you’ve packed your phone in a brick, but it does provide legitimate protection with a shock-absorbing shell. That matters when your phone inevitably goes down a conference table or fumbles while balancing luggage and coffee. The standout feature is the integrated ring stand, and unlike most gimmicky add-ons, this one really stands repeated use. And it doubles as a grip (massive if you’re just one handed with emails while walking through a terminal) and flips into a stable kickstand for video calls, mounting on the back of an airplane seat, or Netflix in a hotel room. It’s one of those "why doesn’t every case do this?" features once you get used to it. Grip and feel are honed in nicely, no slippery nonsense, and the case is tough without screaming “rugged case.” That matters if you’re hopping between boardrooms and job sites. It's got that fine balance between professional and practical. Now: this does not provide the full tank level protection you would get from purpose built rugged cases. But that's just not the point. This is for those who require some serious protection without sacrificing its function and bulk as well, and it does that very well. Bottom line: If you’re a road warrior who wants a case that can take drops from the floor, double as a stand or, at least not to make your phone feel like a cinder block, this is a smart buy. It’s not flashy innovation, it’s a well-done practical design that is perfect for day-to-day functional use. And seriously, that’s more difficult to find than it should be.
