The FortiGate 30G is a fanless desktop next-generation firewall built for small offices, retail locations and home offices. It is powered by the Fortinet SP4 security processor and delivers 4 Gbps firewall, 800 Mbps IPS, 570 Mbps NGFW and 500 Mbps threat protection throughput, with IPsec VPN up to 3.5 Gbps. Connectivity includes 4x GE RJ45 ports (1x WAN, 2x LAN, 1x FortiLink). Secure SD-WAN and a wireless and switch controller are built into FortiOS at no extra cost, letting the unit manage up to 16 FortiAP access points and 8 FortiSwitch switches from one console. This bundle includes the FortiGate 30G appliance plus 1-year FortiGuard Unified Threat Protection (UTP), which covers IPS, antivirus, FortiSandbox cloud sandboxing, application control, inline CASB, URL, DNS and video filtering, and anti-botnet and C2 protection. FortiCare Premium adds 24x7 phone and web support with 1-hour response on critical issues, firmware updates, and next-business-day advance hardware replacement for the full term.
