I replaced a problematic Wiim pro with this S3 and it turned out a great upgrade to my setup. It literally took about 10 min to setup with easy steps with their app and working great since then. I had to read manual to pair the remote but otherwise rest was quickly done with steps on the app. I primarily use HDMI ARC with TV, Spotify and Airplay streaming from iPhone and everything work perfectly. It's sound quality is so much better than previous streamer. It comes with remote and its super useful, I did not have it with other streamer before. I do plan to add a subwoofer in future as it has subwoofer out. BestBuy had super quick next day delivery and support if needed. I love the simplicity of use and Very Happy with my purchase.

I got this steamer to connect my digital sources to my vintage receivers. I’ve previously had more budget streamers from another company. In comparison the S3 has much better analog output and sound. I found my old streamer would jitter sometimes, and stall out. It also had a much more veiled sound that eventually required an outboard DAC to improve to acceptable levels. The S3 has none of those issues. I have been using it with Apple Airplay to seamlessly stream apple music for many hours, daily. It sounds really good. I often forgot I was listening to streaming while enjoying some more familiar albums I normally play on vinyl or cd. I didn’t notice any issues with the sound which is great. It also uses a free app on to control streaming . It is simple and straightforward. This is definitely a great solution for a quality streamer and DAC. I also used it as a DAC for my older Denon cd player with very good results, and briefly as a streamer/preamp outputting to a Fosi V3 power amp.

Most of my listening time is dedicated to physical media either spinning vinyl or popping a CD into my player. While I love the ritual, having to constantly get up and swap discs gets tiring when I just want to sit back and dig through full discographies. I wanted a clean way to add high res streaming to my shelf without an ugly, laggy mess of adapters or long wires, and the Fosi Audio S3 fit right into my setup. Setup was fast, and it looks right at home next to my turntable, CD player, and receiver. What stood out immediately was the sound profile. With the updated companion app and its 10-band EQ, it delivers a smooth, natural, and full sound that doesn't feel too bassy or tinny, making streamed albums feel right at home alongside physical media. The convenience makes it hard to turn off. Casting via Wi-Fi from my devices is instantaneous with zero dropouts or lag. Being able to effortlessly queue up rare tracks and full albums through my main setup without leaving my desk gives me modern convenience without sacrificing the warm listening experience I care about.

I honestly bought the S3 because of its feature list, but I kept it because of how good it sounds. The AKM DAC delivers a smooth presentation that's easy to listen to for hours, and the balanced outputs pair beautifully with my integrated amplifier. One thing I really like is that Fosi focused on the features that actually matter: Wi-Fi streaming, HDMI eARC, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Tidal Connect. I don't miss having a screen because I control everything from my phone anyway. This is one of those products that simply gets out of the way and lets you enjoy the music. It's become the streamer I use every day, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone building a modern Hi-Fi system.

This is my first dedicated network streamer, and I couldn't be happier. The sound is clean, natural, and surprisingly detailed, especially when using the XLR outputs. I love having multiple streaming options, whether it's Tidal Connect, AirPlay 2, or Google Cast, depending on who's controlling the music. The unit looks great on my desk, runs quietly, and has become the center of my music system. The companion app could still use some refinement, but honestly I rarely need to open it after the initial setup. If you want an affordable streamer with excellent sound quality and plenty of connectivity, this one is easy to recommend.

The Fosi Audio S3 has worked very well in my computer audio setup. The S3 has a built in eArc that I will eventually hope to use when I buy speakers for my TV. I do wish that the device had a built-in USBC for whatever function. There is an app that is available for the device that helps link it with your streaming music choice. It does come with a toslink cable that I am using to connect to my current audio setup. When I stream music through the device it still sounds just as good as if I would have natively done it either on my PC or on my iot smart speakers

Picked up the S3 to modernize an analog setup, and it’s been a great addition. Wi-Fi setup took less than five minutes, and streaming over Spotify/Tidal Connect and AirPlay 2 has been smooth with no dropouts. The built-in AKM DAC sounds crisp, open, and neutral without any harshness. Having HDMI eARC on a unit at this size makes connecting a TV effortless, and the balanced XLR outputs are a huge plus if you’re running power amps. The smartphone app is pretty simple, but it gets the job done for input switching and basic EQ adjustments. Highly recommended if you need an affordable, all-in-one streaming front-end.

I've been looking for an affordable network streamer for quite a while, and the S3 has honestly exceeded my expectations. Setup only took a few minutes, and it showed up in Spotify Connect almost immediately. The sound quality is much better than I expected at this price. I'm using the balanced XLR outputs into my amplifier, and everything sounds clean, detailed, and dynamic. I also like that I don't have to rely on the Fosi app once everything is configured. Overall, it's a great-looking little streamer that performs far above its price point.

I wasn't looking to replace my amplifier—I just wanted to add modern streaming features to an older Hi-Fi setup. The S3 turned out to be exactly what I needed. Spotify Connect, Google Cast, and AirPlay all worked without any headaches, and switching between them is seamless. I also appreciate the 12V trigger, which automatically powers on my amplifier whenever I start playing music. It's a small feature, but it makes the whole system feel much more polished. I've been using it every day and it has been completely reliable. If you already have a good stereo system and just need an affordable network streamer, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

The S3 has been a great addition to my home theater. It was very easy to set up (using the free app) and with a single tosslink cable (provided) it was easy to integrate. I love the ability to connect to Tidal and also to my iPhone through AirPlay 2. It has not been certified with Roon, so Roon is not available at this time. For that reason I give it four stars. Once Roon is available, I might change my review.
