So I got this free YouTube Premium thing from Best Buy for like 3 months because I'm part of their club (Total tech). I had a code (super easy to copy-paste from the email), and bam, I was in. No ads. Yup, zero interruptions when I'm knee-deep in cat videos or learning how to fix my sink. The first thing I noticed? No ads. Like, none. It's peaceful. It's like YouTube got a mute button for ads, and it's glorious. Then there's the background play. I can switch apps and still listen to my videos. It's great for podcasts or just jamming to tunes that aren't on Spotify. Speaking of tunes, YouTube Music is included. It's pretty much like any other music app, but it has these remixes and covers you can't find anywhere else. Plus, downloading videos to watch offline is a lifesaver on the subway. No more staring at someone's armpit because my phone's got nothing better to do. Now, would I pay for this after the free ride ends? Hard to say. I mean, it's nice not having ads, but it's like deciding if guac is worth the extra bucks. Nice but not necessary, you know? Overall, it's a pretty sweet deal while it's free. I mean once you get used to the good life, it's tough to go back. So, would I recommend it? Sure, for the free trial. After that, check your wallet and your patience for ads. If you hate ads enough, it might just be worth it. Catch you later!

I love Best Buy so much for offering things like this, I got to have 3 months of YouTube Premium it was the absolute best experience ever i literally forgot I had it for a second because I never used YouTube due to ads but once I got it and never had ads pop up it was like wow this is amazing i was shocked like i wasn’t dealing with annoying pop ups, finally when my subscription ended i loved the experience so much I would’ve paid for it but since I don’t work at the moment I couldn’t afford it but It’s definitely worth the price to get it again cause the no ads was just the best like I could literally turn my phone off and YouTube videos would still play! Great for studying; it’s just amazing yall offer this , I wish I could use it again everytime I buy something from Best Buy , either way I love yall and thank you for rewarding us with gifts and special treatment when we shop with you. I always have the best experience when I go in store, I believe it was in San Marcos Best Buy that I went to for a issue I had not related to yall but a issue on my computer that yall were able to help me with, and i remember being greeted walking in the store, just a great feeling with yall. I got 3 months of YouTube Premium free when I bought my MacBook Pro 16”, and I’ve been enjoying it so much! No ads at all just pure, uninterrupted watching. I also love that I can download videos and music to watch offline, especially when I’m traveling or don’t have Wi-Fi. It also works great in the background, so I can still listen to music or videos while using other apps. I didn’t think I’d care about Premium, but now I’m definitely considering keeping it after the trial ends. It really upgrades the whole YouTube experience!

After a full month of using YouTube Premium, I can honestly say it’s been one of those small upgrades that quietly improves everyday life. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the price at first – I mean, it’s just YouTube, right? But now, going back to the free version feels almost unthinkable. The most immediate relief is no ads. It’s hard to appreciate how disruptive ads are until they’re gone. Videos start instantly, no interruptions mid-way, and there’s none of that jarring volume jump from a loud commercial. It just feels smoother – more intentional. The background play is surprisingly useful too. I often listen to long interviews, podcasts, or even ambient music while doing chores or walking, and being able to lock my phone or switch apps without the video stopping is such a simple but powerful feature. It makes YouTube feel more like a podcast or music app when you need it to be. One downside? It’s not cheap. It feels a bit steep for something that used to be completely free. But for the convenience, lack of interruptions, and better control over how I listen and watch, it’s started to feel like a fair trade. Overall, YouTube Premium doesn’t drastically change what YouTube is, but it changes how it feels to use it – calmer, more fluid, and just… nicer. Not essential for everyone, but if you use YouTube a lot, it’s probably worth a try.

Love that you don’t get advertisements and enhances the experience. Moreover, the option to use youtube with screen off really sets it apart.

The service itself is honestly amazing. Once you start viewing with no commercials, it's very hard to go back. I'll only give 3 starts because instead of 3 months I only received 1.

It’s very nice having YouTube premium because we don’t have to deal with commercials or we don’t need to keep our phones open.

Good membership. I enjoy not viewing so many commercials, The only setback is it's not crystal clear how to download videos to iPhone (Cloud).

Love YouTube premium. The only music streaming service where you can actually find EVERYTHING. Well worth the price tag. The only thing I could complain about is that they aren’t very good at recommending new songs based on what you listen to.

Youtube premium is awesome without constant barge of ads. The promotion was super easy to activate and even easier to cancel before the promotion period expires. Wish it was a bit longer

Can’t beat free YouTube premium. I cancelled my paid subscription and it let me use the free trial.

I have used it a few times but would recommend! I use this for my classroom to play videos aswell as for watching videos on how to do things, such as changing settings on my camera!
