I always get this brand for my summer ac. This ac if well maintained will last for a long time. I have a small room so i feel i should had got the 5000btu but i like extra chill room and summer heats in nyc keep getting hotter. Thats why a extra 3000btu wont hurt.

Remote Control Missing

Ordered 3 units. Two of the three units were missing the remote control . Annoying- the remote costs about 83$ each to order via Frigidaire parts website. Very disappointing. Unfortunately we didn’t open the units to install for about a month due to a family health situation, so we are outside the window for Best Buy remediation. Otherwise the units function as expected. Would not recommend this AC due to the missing remote for two of the three units ordered. Manufacturer or Best Buy is not a reliable source for this unit- it was not as advertised. Do not order.

Cools the room down nicely. We like to keep it on most of the day and it’s been working perfectly for about a month now. No complaints.
