Features
  • Wipe away cleaning time with the induction cooktop

Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.

  • Get amazingly fast results with Induction

With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware and not the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast.

  • Maximize cooktop space with the Convenient Bridge Element

Connect two elements to create a larger cooking surface, perfect for griddles or large pans.

  • Even Heat delivers consistent results

Induction delivers steady, even heat across the surface of your pan so you get consistent results every time.

  • Incredibly responsive and precise

More responsive than gas and more precise than electric, induction goes from a low simmer to a powerful boil, almost immediately.

  • Safer cooktop surface

Induction heats your pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch.

  • Peace of Mind with the Frigidaire Fit Promise

We promise that your new 30" Frigidaire induction cooktop will fit your existing countertop cutout of the same width and configuration, or we will reimburse you for cabinet modification costs up to $100.

  • Get the right amount of heat with Auto Sizing Pan Detection

Get the right amount of heat for your pan with Auto Sizing that automatically senses the size of your pan and heats accordingly.

  • More Efficient Way to Cook

Induction uses less energy throughout the cooking process, only heating your cookware and not your kitchen.

  • Induction is compatible with most cookware

Most stainless steel and cast iron cookware is compatible with induction elements. An easy rule of thumb: if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it’s induction-friendly.

Worst electronic and costumer service ever!!!

My cooktop from Frigidaire exploded underneath and we heard the sound in the whole house. Technician from Frigidaire came and was not able to fix it. After two weeks he came with the part that he told us this cooktop needed in order to get fixed and still didn’t work after the replacement. Now this technician said that he needed to order a different part and it looks like we are about to spend Christmas without a cooktop > 1 month without a working cooktop! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. It is my only Frigidaire anppliance inside my house and in only 8 moths after we purchased it catastrophically failed. The one I had before last me almost 9 years. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CRAP!!!!!! I never usually review things online but I just don’t want another family to experience what we are experiencing right now. A complete nightmare.

Affordable uprade from a gas stove

Overall, a significant upgrade over my old gas stove! Boils water very quickly, safer with the kids, and limits indoor air pollution. Downsides: The buttons are not very responsive (sometimes have to poke them half a dozen times for them to work), power cuts off seconds after removing a pan, sometimes vibrates noisily.

    Induction is interesting....and promising

This cooktop produces even, precise, and rapid induction heating and takes some practice to get used to. Boils water very quickly! An interesting feature of induction is the cooktop itself is not actually heating, but rather the cookware heats up which in turn returns heat to the cooktop surface. Induction does require specific cookware, and the stainless steel set I'd used for 20+ years was not compatible. Most modern stainless cookware will now be compatible, as is cast iron. Bridge mode of the two smaller units looks promising but I've read this can create uneven heating (on a griddle, for example). The slider heat controls are not ideal. All in all, this unit is excellent so far.

    Great little cooktop.

Great little cooktop. Induction heats up super fast without a lot of heat coming from the cooktop. You do have to keep the control touch pad area dry or it might not respond. Depending on the cookware you used it can be more noisy than an electric top. Overall happy with the purchase. Bestbuy did the installation for me and the tech was on time and friendly. Took Bestbuy a week to get the top in stock and installed. I tried going to the blue color home improvement store to get it at first and it took almost a month and it was still not done so i canceled with them and came to Bestbuy.

Questions & Answers
  • Is he heat distributed evenly? or like many induction cooktops, the center overheats and the sides underheats even inside larger elements

Thanks for reaching out to us, Abhishek! The heat is distributed evenly, however you may encounter uneven cooking depending on the kind of pan or cookware you are using. For additional information, The inner ring on each cooking zone indicates the smallest pan size for the zone while the outer ring on the cooktop graphic indicates the largest pan size for that zone. Cookware that is too small for a zone may not activate the cookware detection sensor. Cookware that is much larger than a cooking zone will still cook, but may be slower and uneven. If your cookware is not a perfect match, it is best to use a zone a little smaller than the bottom of the cookware. We hope this information help you and your shopping experience.-Angel

  • What is the amps requirement for this unit

The Frigidaire 30" Induction Cooktop requires a 240V electrical connection with a dedicated 30-amp circuit. This ensures the cooktop operates safely and efficiently.
