Questions & Answers
How do I unlock oven to turn on oven
Answered by FrigidaireSupportHi Don! Thank you for your question. If the oven on your Frigidaire FCFE3062AS is locked, the Control Lock feature may be activated. To unlock the oven controls, press and hold the Control Lock button for approximately 3 seconds until the lock indicator turns off or you hear a confirmation tone. Once unlocked, you should be able to select the desired oven function and temperature. If the controls remain locked or the oven still will not turn on after unlocking, please contact Frigidaire Customer Care through the Live Chat feature at Frigidaire.com or call 1-800-374-4432, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, for further assistance. — Reed
Is there a burner lock feature on this stove? We have turned on the burners mistakenly too many times. Last time we were painting and had a plastic tarp over the stove to protect it and melted it to the burner.
Answered by FrigidaireSupportHi there! No, the Frigidaire range model FCFE3062AS does not have a built-in safety lock feature for the cooktop burners. The burners are controlled by physical knobs on the front control panel. The model does, however, have a Control Lock feature that locks the oven's digital controls and door. This feature is for the oven only, not the stovetop burners. If you are concerned about the safety of the burner knobs, generic third-party safety locks designed to fit over range knobs can be purchased from various retailers. - Patrick
Why does one place say stand alone and another place say slide on?
Answered by FrigidaireSupportHi there, valued customer! Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your inquiry. This model is a slide-in range; model designed to slide between kitchen cabinets, appliances or other fixtures to provide a seamless, built-in look. These models are a practical choice for spaces with kitchen islands or decorative backsplash walls1.
