Q: Can cast iron or coated cast iron cookware be used with this range?
A: We don't recommend using any type of cast iron cookware, even though the coating can reduce the chance of scratching the surface, it is still more likely to leave marks than standard cookware. Thank You, Frigidaire

Unfortunately, We Wound Up with A Lemon.
Within 3 months of purchase, the bake element, while set at 275 F, began sparking; then caught on fire. Fortunately, my wife was in the kitchen and immediately shut the oven off. Since it was under the manufacturers warranty, we were able to get a Frigidaire repair tech out yesterday, 11/5/19. He was a very nice gentleman but he only replaced the aforesaid bake element. He installed it and monitored it for 15 minutes on 450 F. Even though it appeared to be resolved, I expressed my concerns to him that the problem may be originating elsewhere. I explained that I have never experienced a brand new range element catching on fire. He graciously indicated that the part was simply faulty from the factory. Later on that night, it proved to be more than just the element. My wife was baking with the oven set at 400 F. After 35 minutes, the infamous "F 10" error code displayed, indicating runaway temperature. This is apparently caused by a temperature sensor or control panel problem. Since the oven was hot, I shut the power off at the breaker box for 15 minutes; then turned it back on. Once again the F 10 code appeared. We called Frigidaire customer service this morning. The company will be sending another tech out to fully assess the appliance on 11/15/19. Clearly, this should have been completed before anything else. I am greatly concerned with this troublesome oven causing a fire in our home. Accordingly, I am kindly requesting that the good people at Frigidaire replace this range with another.

Nice stove for the price......
Seems like a really good quality product except for the pull out draw. That seems to be pretty weak. Also not sure I really care much for the whole ceramic top thing either. Thought it was going to be MUCH easier to clean. Thats not so true. The info that comes with it even says dont get sugar on the hot surface or it may pit your glass top range. Hmm maybe just the old coil burners where easier to take care of even when things would boil over. But with that said it really is a quality product packed with alot of really great features. At an amazing good price. Really goes well with all the other Frigidaire products... :)

Great stove for a busy mother!!
Great stove for a busy mother that is busy all day. I love the bake time feature. It allows busy moms to set oven bake time to the time at which you need to bake food and automatically turns off. No more burnt bread or over cooked chicken when I get busy helping with homework or doing laundry.
