This humidifier is working better than the 2 I had previously. It is doing as much as both together to remove moisture from the air. I have never had a top vent which I do like very much. It is not loud. It is my favorite of all the humidifiers I have used over the years. Good value for the money.

After much research, I am very satisfied with my purchase. My previous dehumidifier died in the midst of the time when I really needed it on. I use my dehumidifier in my basement, so by the time I found a suitable new one – it was PAST time! I connected it to a drain hose, and turned it on to "Continuous" for the first few days as recommended for very damp areas. All the excess moisture was quickly addressed. I now have it running constantly (set to 35˚, fan on medium) and the noise is not disturbing. I would purchase it again!

Got it in earlier today and set it up a few hours ago. I already feel a tremendous difference. It’s also a lot quieter than I expected. Overall it was a great purchase that increased my family’s quality of life and will help preserve our electronics in the high southern humidity.

Extremely pleased with this dehumidifier! We have a partially finished basement that is prone to damp - on top of that, we recently had a pipe leak for about a day before it was found. This machine handles it all with no fuss. The controls are intuitive, and the timer, which I thought I'd never use, quickly became my favorite feature. The water reservoir is large and can be heavy for me (because of my arthritis), so I like to set it to shut off in a few hours, keeping it from getting completely full. That is a huge help for me. The reservoir is also very easy to remove and replace - something that was a constant annoyance with our last dehumidifier. It's not annoyingly loud - at least to me - but it's certainly not quiet. The fan is strong and blows out the top. But there are lower settings than I usually use, so that's an option. The intake (and access to the filter) is in the back. Cleaning the filter is easy. I have had to remind my husband not to push the machine back against the wall, so that there would be good airflow around it. All in all, I'd recommend it. It certainly does the job!

Replaced an old humidifier that stopped working with this one. This is very quiet compared to the old one. It removes moisture well but does throw off heat as I think they all do. I am satisfied with my purchase and hope it holds up.

Lifesaver! Due to a defective HVAC installation in my building, humidity levels average 66% RH and often spike to over 70%. This unit keeps the humidity under control. It's also one of the quieter dehumidifers I've used.

I purchased this model to replace a 70 pint Frigidaire used for 2 summers only that suddenly stopped removing the moisture from my basement although it seemed to be running fine. This model is a bit louder and seems to run almost continuously but appears to be doing its job. Hopefully it lasts longer than it’s predecessor.

This unit was easy to set up with a hose to our basement drain. This unit is very quiet. I am very pleased.

Works great! Easy to setup and very easy to empty!

When it worked, it worked great. It was relatively quiet and did a good job of dehumidifying. But considering I only used it at most half the year and it's now died (EC Error) after less than two "years" of use (really a single year of actual time), I can't give it a good rating. Find another dehumidifier that will be more reliable long-term.

Very happy with this purchase! Very humid this last summer, even the a/c could not keep up. Easy to set up & empty. Brought the humidity level down to a comfortable level after a few days of constant running. Would purchase the unit again,,,,very happy with purchase. Fast shipping too.

Works great. Greatly reduced humidity in basement and upstairs. Ran it continuously, then set to a specific humidity. Ran with bucket and then with hose, both work great. Very happy with purchase and investment. Filter easy to clean. Well made. Used for almost one month now.

Works as advertised. I have 2 of these- one in the garage, the other in my basement/crawl space. Relatively quiet.

Had this for less than 2 years and it doesn’t function properly anymore. It doesn’t collect water even though the fan and filter are fine. Even when it was working I thought the fan was too loud and eventually the fan produced a lot of hot air.

Had to replace aging dehumidifier that was very noisy and not energy efficient. Like this unit as it is fairly quiet and is energy star rated. Does a good job in a large room in maintaining humidity level at a constant level.

I would give it zero but it's not an option. I got the EC code in just less than 23 months and when I called to see if the compresor is under the 4 year warranty (these products used to have a one year warranty for parts and labor and 4 for the sealed compresor), they told me than now this one has only a one year warranty for the compressor as well. Never buying this again. It is my third frigidaire dehumidifier that got this EC error. At least the other 2 lasted a litle longer than this one.
