So far this thing only makes ice,nothing else. Only issues were ice maker line not included,sold separately(which is silly and very inconvenient given that it is so inexpensive) and the other is that the line does not turn and lock to the back of the refrigerator as it should. It slowly creeps back and the water feed ramp turns slightly and causes a drip in the freezer. I ended up using a double sided tape bracket and a zip tie to keep it from turning Time will tell if it will hold. It's actually unacceptable as its water leaking. Not sure if it's the refrigerator or the ice maker part that is the problem. The only reason I would recommend it is because it's probably the only one available

Once it was hooked up correctly, it works great. The only problem is the ice still taste funny, hopefully it will be better soon.

The installation of this icemaker should have been very easy. However, the directions for the icemaker itself were poor. They showed different icemaker components as if it was for several different machines. Also, it gave directions that did not say how to remove the protective cover on the refrigerator. Nearly tore it apart trying to remove it without directions. Now that it's finally in, it works great and keeps the bin completely full.

This icemaker produces ice cubes as designed and does not take up much space in the freezer.

This is probably a great ice maker. Unfortunately, it's not the correct one for the fridge I bought. Kind of bummed as I was all set to install it last night and wasn't able to complete the project.

Works as it supposed to. The install was fairly simple, with all parts included. As with any ice maker, you do need to provide your own 1/4" copper tube water line to the back of the refrigerator.

This Icemaker seems to be a real workhorse, churning out ice cubes around the clock until the bin is full. Not overly noisy, and provides good, steady production sufficient to keep up with our use. Good product!

This kit was exactly as advertised and seems to be working just fine. Price was better than anywhere else online and pick-up was easy.

Bought this to go along with the Frigidaire refrigerator I purchased. Takes about one day to fill the bucket with ice. I have no funny taste from the ice after throwing out the first days worth of ice made. Works just fine.

Definitely wanted an ice maker in my new refrigerator. Good price and works great and it is quiet!

It took a while for the first ice cubes to drop, but once it started everything was great. I just wish the fridge I bought came with this. Its a must though if you are looking for an ice maker.

I had gotten a fridge from my grandmother that passed. It didn't have a ice maker the fridge was 10 years old I didn't know if it would be worth it but I bought this with rewards points. Yes REWARDS POINTS best buy has the best rewards program i have ever seen. But it worked on my old fridge and is still working. Thanks bestbuy

It is so nice to have an Icemaker that works again. It runs quietly and the ice is made quickly.

Cheap ice maker in a cheap work fridge. Best buy guys hooked up at delivery and i did run to water pipe. Makes ice fine but a little slow but cant complain because it was free

Wasn't sure I wanted another ice maker as that system was part of why I needed to replace old fridg but glad I did. Output is good and cubes are nice size. One thing to keep in mind, how many batches before they taste right. I was told not to use the first one, it was more like 6-8 before they were right...just takes awhile for the new rubber hose connection "taste" to dissipate. All good now!

This ice maker works great. It makes a batch of ice in about an hour.
