Q: How do you install this? Is there a suggested cabinet to but for this?
A: Good question! This microwave can stand alone on a counter-top or be built in with the optional 30" or 27" Trim Kit which includes the Bottom Duct Assembly. If you install it in a cabinet, it must have a full plywood base able to support 100 lbs. A minimum 20" deep oven cutout dimension is critical for proper installation for the oven and the face-plate to fit flush against the cabinet front. ~ Brandi
Q: Are there options for a 27"trim kit replacing an existing unit
A: Greetings, Esibella. Yes, this model is compatible with a couple 27" and 30" trim kits. The 27" trim kits that are compatible with this model microwave are the Black Stainless Steel Trim Kit (PN # MWTK27FGUD) and the Stainless Steel Trim Kit (PN # MWTK27FGUF). -Alexis
A: Hello MassConsumer. Built-in microwaves are not designed to vent the same as an over-the range microwave, the do not require outside venting. When installed in a cabinet, it must have a full plywood base able to support 100 lbs. Additionally, a depth cut-out minimum of 20" is required for proper installation of the microwave and the face-plate to fit flush against the cabinet front. ~ Anna
Q: Does this built-in microwave oven have a turn-table?
A: Yes! Probably the biggest one I've seen. It it way larger than our previous above the stove microwave. This microwave is very strong and does a fantastic job!
