A: The large center eye has “Simmer to Boil”in the middle but it’s in a muted gray and doesn’t look tacky.

Q: What is the difference between the $899. Model and the $999. Frigidaire Gallery electric cooktop
A: The orientation of the burners seems to be different. Also the depth of the cooktop is deeper on one versus the other. In my case, I needed a shallow unit, no more than 3 inches deep or else I would have had to modify the existing cabinet.

Cooktop
Love my new Frigidaire cooktop! It’s a beautiful design and cooks evenly and quickly. It was a replacement for a new Whirlpool which was unsatisfactory. The only issue I have is that some of the black lines around the knobs are wearing off. Haven’t had it but a month and worry that it will continue.

Quality Cook Top
The product does an excellent job in cooking. Not having to worry about cold spots in our food is great. It did take some time to learn about the new cook top, as in all products that need to be learned properly. I would recommend this to anyone needing an efficient cooktop
