A: The large center eye has “Simmer to Boil”in the middle but it’s in a muted gray and doesn’t look tacky.

Q: What is the difference between the $899. Model and the $999. Frigidaire Gallery electric cooktop
A: The orientation of the burners seems to be different. Also the depth of the cooktop is deeper on one versus the other. In my case, I needed a shallow unit, no more than 3 inches deep or else I would have had to modify the existing cabinet.

Cooktop
Love my new Frigidaire cooktop! It’s a beautiful design and cooks evenly and quickly. It was a replacement for a new Whirlpool which was unsatisfactory. The only issue I have is that some of the black lines around the knobs are wearing off. Haven’t had it but a month and worry that it will continue.
