A: I believe Tru convection means that it is strictly a convection oven, this one is gas that has a quick bake button that will turn on the convection fan to distribute the heat evenly, so it is not always convection, only when you choose it to be. Also it does include a griddle and the drawer is for storage, the broiler is inside the oven.

Q: Can the burners be lit with a match in the event of a power outage?

To light a surface burner, hold a lit match to the burner head, then slowly turn the surface control knob to lite.
