Q: what is the volltage required in this unit
A: It is a 220 volt with tandem 6-15 plug
Q: What is side is the cord on for the unit?...
A: The cord is on bottom left if you are facing unit. The unit is much quieter than my old A/C and cools area with no problem.
Q: can this ac be mounted on a sleeve? I know it says wall/window, but I want to make sure.
A: The units case is made to either be a window unit or the "sleeve" that goes through the wall. If you are replacing an old unit, the old sleeve may not work because of size differences. I hoped I would get lucky, but I had to use the new case because modifying the old one, because the new unit was smaller, would have been more work. I had the same confusion because of the description and almost ordered a new case!
