I just bought it for its pocketable size I had no idea how an 18mm performs, I'm really glad I got brave because I really liked it. it's perfect for everyday use. It has fast but noisy auto focus and a very classy look but a bit heavy.

I really like this lens. I think it gets overshadowed by the 16MM, but this thing holds it own when it comes to image quality. I use it with my X-T1 system and love it.

Great lens, especially now that it going for 200 cheaper than the original price. Very small and great if you have an xe1 or xe2 so you can slip into your jacket or cargo pants. Very fast focus, great color rendition and fast for night shooting. As a backpack lens it's great and lightweight. I'm giving it a 5 because someone gave it a 1 which is ridiculous. If you are a pro shooter who sells landscape photos for a living you may want to invest in the 10-24mm or 23mm instead since those lenses are sharper at the edges. This lens reaches peak sharpness between 5.6 and 8 and is good enough for everything I do, which includes blowing up landscape photos. This is a great lens and really makes the xe cameras fun to shoot and easy to carry around as well. Super fun and cheap!

Wanted to love it due to the small form factor, reminded me of my Panasonic GF1 with 20MM pancake lens combo, but did not have the image quality i was looking for. If small size matters, go with this lens, if your looking for quality go with the 35MM.
