I bought this lens for my X-T50 because I wanted something more compact and easy to carry with me when going on short daytrips and it has proven to be a beautiful lens. My most recent trip to San Diego using this lens was great and carefree because of how much more portable it made my camera. My only complaint is that it is noisy when trying to focus like other reviewers have mentioned, but you eventually get used to it (or at least I have).

Perfect for traveling. This is what I use every time I go on trips. Small and not heavy.

Love that it’s compact.makes the camera fix in a jacket pocket. Image quality its sharp and the focal options are great. Hands down a must have for travel or general purpose photography.

This lens is fantastic! Super tiny and lightweight form factor, beautifully sharp image quality, conveniently marked aperture ring, and weather-sealed construction. Best of all... it pairs nicely with my more robust X-T4 for an everyday setup. Makes taking my camera everywhere a breeze.

The Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR is honestly one of those lenses you throw on your camera and kind of forget it’s there—and that’s the whole point. It’s tiny, super light, and just gives you this really natural perspective that works for pretty much anything—street shots, everyday stuff, travel. Image quality is surprisingly sharp for something this compact, and the colors come out looking great, especially if you’re already into that Fuji look. It’s not going to blow you away with shallow depth of field, but it’s fast to focus, weather-sealed, and super low-profile. If you like shooting without drawing attention or carrying bulk, this one just makes sense.

Best travel lens! Lightweight and compact is where it thrives! Although a bit noisy when autofocusing, for those who are thinking to create some video this might not be the best lens for that. Amazing pictures, sharp and detailed! Recommended 10/10.

This lens is super compact and easy to carry around. It takes sharp photos, focuses quickly, and just works really well for everyday stuff, especially street and travel shots. I love how small and light it is on the camera. Great quality all around.

I bought this lens because of its small form factor and a focal range good for street photography. In terms of form factor, this lens is very discrete, nobody bats an eye when I'm taking pictures in public, or even in private events. The focal range is just right, it's an all around focal range in my opinion. The 2.8 aperture is not as wide as I would like it to be, but it's a good enough sacrifice to get the small form factor, and besides, I always shoot at 5.6 or above in outdoors anyways. The image quality is excellent and is on par to its other more expensive Fuji lens brothers. Putting the image from this lens side by side with the 35mm at F2.8 makes it hard to tell which image came from which lens. The only flaw I see from this lens is the loud noisy autofocus. It does focus well and fast, but it is loud. If you're planning to use this for video, you'll be disappointed as the noise from the lens can ruin the audio.

Great little lens. Makes my old XE-1 nearly pocketable for EDC. And the auto-focus is much better than the 18mm pancake.

This lens is awesome. It’s not perfect but worth it hands down. AF is the only reason this isn’t perfect but that’s just because if subject are too close it won’t af super quick.

Great lens, very compact and easy to learn. If you want conpat and functional then this one’s for you.
