Good controller for mobile gaming. Have no issues on cloud games or mobile games. Buttons & sticks feel great. Convectivety is a breeze. Only complaint are the magnets that hold the face covers could be stronger and lack of charging while using. Other than that, great controller. Using it on PC in a pinch is a nice feature as well.

The GameSir G8+ has a great quality build from its buttons and triggers down to even the HD rumble. It’s very easy to set up and switch between different devices/modes (ex. From nintendo switch to xbox mode). It has a wide range of compatibility being able to connect to PC, IOS, and Android to name the main ones. Overall great product!

I’ve been using this controller to play call of duty mobile. It works really well! Connection to my iPhone 15 was quick. Only snag I had was that it connects via Bluetooth to 2 different names. You can’t just connect to one or the other. It has to be both. Once I got past that it was a breeze. I’m excited to connect it to the switch and try Fortnite with this controller. If your used to Xbox controllers you won’t have any issues using this.

I use the control for my Nintendo switch. The controller fits perfectly in my hands, very comfortable to maneuver. It was also very easy to connect via bluetooth and good battery life. Overall a good buy, I would recommend it.

[Employee of bestbuy] Works great, but I’ve had lots of connectivity issues along with mode switching up often

It does work great on a ipad mini and a nintendo switch. Its a little glitchy on the Nintendo with some games but overall works like the controllers the switch comes with. For the money this is a good extra buy and feels more comfortable for people who have bigger hands.

Awesome way to play mobile. If you’ve tried playing games on your phone you know that it can be clunky. These add on controls are awesome. I will never go back!

I’ve been using the GameSir G8+ controller for a while now, and it’s a slick, versatile gamepad that works great with my Switch, iPhone, and Android tablet. It’s got a premium vibe and handles most games like a champ, though it’s got a couple quirks that keep it from being perfect. Pros: Wide Compatibility: Syncs effortlessly with multiple platforms like Switch, iOS, and Android, making it a go-to for all my devices. Hall Effect Joysticks: These sticks are smooth, responsive, and built to last without drift, which is awesome for long-term gaming. Comfortable Design: Feels like an Xbox controller in my hands—sturdy and perfect for longer sessions without cramping up. Bluetooth Convenience: Pairing’s a breeze, and it doesn’t suck my phone’s battery dry; I can even charge while playing. Customizable Features: Swappable sticks and programmable rear buttons let me tweak it to fit how I play. Cons: Occasional Latency: I’ve noticed a tiny bit of input lag in fast games—nothing major, but it’s there. Loose USB-C Jack: My USB-C port wiggles a bit; it hasn’t disconnected yet, but it makes me nervous. Accidental Button Presses: The menu button’s so close to the X button that I’ve hit it by mistake more than once. The price feels fair for what you get—great for casual stuff like Minecraft or Genshin Impact, and Switch owners will love it too. The rumble and extra sticks are cool perks. I’d grab a case if you travel with it, though.

Just upgraded to a Razr Fold and this was one of my first accessories. I've tried it before with a regular phone, but the aspect ratio was less than ideal. Now I'm set with my new device. This controller feels pretty good in my large-ish hands. I do wish it had a little more handle length. Sometimes my hands cramp a bit because the handles are a tad short for my hands. Buttons are nice and not too loud. Sticks feel great and their tension is perfect. Bumpers and triggers feel great. Rumble is decent. The LED indicator light is annoying but can be disabled, I believe. I got this on sale and at that price, it's a no-brainer. Regular price? If you're on a foldable, still worth it, but for regular phones, I think the Kishi Ultra feels better in hand.

I got this during Black Friday and would highly recommend this remote. It connects via bluetooth to my Fold 7 and I play remotely or games directly on the phone. I do primarily play games on Xbox so the placement of the right thumbstick annoys me when having to move between the buttons and the stick. Other than that personal preference, this is a great remote. The buttons work great, the triggers are solid, and I like how the remote feels in my hands. You might even be able to use smaller tablets as the stretchy part pulls a good width apart. If you're really into gaming on your phone this will make it better. Highly recommend.

I like how the controller can connect to almost anything. I mainly bought it for my phone but, it works great for a regular controller as well. I used it on my Switch which was super comfortable. Overall it's a great controller.

[Employee of bestbuy] One of the benefits of the G8 plus is the Bluetooth makes it compatible with phones and tablets regardless of brand, usb-c placement and case size. Feels very comfortable and similar to a standard Xbox controller. My only complaint is the two small buttons under the d-pad. I wish they could be disabled at times because I hit them constantly by mistake when playing games that use the d-pad primarily. If I could reroute those buttons to the back buttons then that would be ideal. Are you listening Gamesir? Add it to your app.

This is an awesome easy to use remote. I'm not someone who does a lot of mobile gaming. But recently my favorite game finally became mobile. Rainbow six siege so I researched the best phone gaming remote for my galaxy 7 fold. This one came up as one of the best. I bought I tried it I love it. It is a great remote.

[Employee of bestbuy] Works great, however pairing can be troublesome. It has 4 different connection modes which cause issues. Easiest way to pair is using the pairing button next tonthe charger, but the manual does not mention it. I have to re-pair it whenever I move it to another device. Battery life is great though as is input lag. Very comfortable to hold.

[Employee of bestbuy] I will not lie, I was not sure wherever get one of the mainstream controllers such as the Kishi, or try a new experience from a company I barely heard of before such as Gamesir. The G8 Plus blew me away for the quality and price of the product. Not only did I get a controller thats quality, has hall effect and replaceable triggers, I got a tool for my days. Battery life is superb and the fact that there is not port protects a lot in terms of durability, which is the main issue I ran with this controllers. Don't look any further, go with Gamesir G8 Plus! PD: Only get the MFi "ONLY" if you are locked into the Apple Ecosystem. In the games I ran I had no issues but it simply makes it easier to connect and detect, otherwise it will show as a PS controller. And the white is nice.

I purchased this GameSir G8 Plus Bluetooth edition for my Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3. One word to describe this controller: OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend this controller. I have experience no lag what so ever. All buttons and joysticks are highly responsive. Easy set up, and comfortable to use. It's too bad it does come with a case or a GameSir Bag. I highly recommend this controller!!
