Bought this mostly for work and gaming. The CPU runs hot so I did have to undervolt the CPU and change some of the power options. The RTX 2060 runs sooo nice on this laptop in terms of gameplay. I was able to run Division 2 and Monster Hunter World (With High Res Text Pack) on highest settings with no lag or drops in FPS. Also the panel is 60hz and the brightness isn't as bright so this may suprise you. I did have to change the color vibrance in the nvidia control panel to 70% to get vibrant colors. I did have to change the HP Omen fans settings to Comfort to deal with the high thermals. You're looking at 70-85 C depending on how CPU intensive the program is with all the changes I've made. Without any changes to the CPU it was hitting low 90s C. The reason it's a gamble is because I'm having to return the laptop due to dead pixels that keep popping up after trying to repair them and I also started noticing screen burn in which I've never ever had to deal with before on a laptop. If it weren't for these two things I would've probably kept it. I probably wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't know how to under-volt and to those who can just hope that you have better luck with the screen that I did. Hope this helped!

I mainly used this for my rta tuning and running a photogrametry program to process meshes. I recently got into playing games and worked really well. I have no down side besides the cards being pretty small but with gpu it came with and the price it was worth it

I use the mostly for ESO and diablo 3 and run them on max settings with no problems. Laptop does get hot but stock cooling is good for a laptop. The RTX2060 push’s the frame rate max. Overall recommend but get a laptop cooling mat

Had this laptop for the past 2 days. First time I turned it on the screen wouldn’t turn on. A second boot seemed to solve that problem and I trucked on. Invested several hours setting it up and getting office installed. Ran a game benchmark and the performance was exactly what I had hoped for. I noticed the WiFi would disconnect here and there but figured it was a fluke. Then after 24 hours the machine would boot into windows and completely lock up. I’ve been building PCs for 20 years and I know I did absolutely nothing to trigger these hard lock ups and the fact that it was occurring every other boot up was perplexing. I guess I got a lemon so don’t let my experience stop you from trying the machine. It’s a lot of computer for the $$, probably the best deal on a RTX 2060 laptop with good specs.
