I use this for my work truck so it avoids all the parkways that I live near. Works with backup camera.

This is not my first truck GPS but it s my first Garmin Truck GPS.I found it to be very easy to use. The graphics are great and the 7" screen is wonderful. It takes the guess work out and puts you on the best path.I highly recommend this product

At first it was hard to use but with some persistence and common sense with a dash of pressure to figure out how to use it because I was going to be transporting passengers that are elderly or have disabilities after my second day of mentoring (shadowing with someone) with a veteran driver was over which was 5.16.16. So, on 5.17.16 I was asked if I was ready to drive (on my own) and boy was I nervous. Anyway, the 770 gps got me through especially when the highways were crowded. I'd just click for the black left and right pointing arrows found somewhere while my gps was already engaged in navigating me on the highway. For the most part it worked, but when you're in Manhattan traffic sometimes there's just nothing you or the gps can do but wait it out with the stop and go traffic flow. It tells you also the speed limit on highways and local roads too which helps too. As for the truck navigation I cant, say much yet about it but plan to use it. The problem is I don't have the job i really want until I get my NY class A CDL. So, for now I'm just taking it easy. I hope my review helped and that someone puts a detailed review about the truck navigation for commercial vehicles.

Bought this product for my husband who is a OTR driver. He loves it! He says it never misses a spot he is looking for. I will say that the night we bought the GPS we immediately brought it home and updated the software. Very easy to do online. It warns him of school zones and gives great reminders of what lane to be in and when a turn is coming up

This is a really good product. It is easy to use and has not lead me wrong yet. I am a truck driver and it is nice to have a heads up about upcoming travel issues.

It is a great Garmin. My husband drives a truck and it gives accurate directions and also shows truck stops, and any traffic delays. Would highly recommend.

For truckers this GPS is worth its weight in GOLD! Simply plug your tractor trailer's dimensions, plug in your address and away you go. I have more than 17,000 miles logged since June '17 with this GPS and have never been put in a situation where my vehicle height was an issue. Accident or heavy traffic ahead? The GPS sees reported accidents and reroutes you if possible saving hours lost on the road. GPS also warns of weigh stations, state borders, steeps descends and uphill grades as well as having a car mode if you are using the GPS in your personal vehicle. I recommended this device to any new trucker out there. 100% gives you piece of mind. Two cons with this device I have found are that, one, it is not adapted to make up for the way NYC measures truck heights. And two if you leave the device off and drive for a certain amount of time (roughly 500 miles) it will not find the satellite signal unless you plug into your computer again.

I bought this gps as a replacement for the model this one replaced. I really like the simplicity of entering an address and also the traffic warnings. The display fairly large and may not work for a smaller car. Primarily made for trucks

Very big screen, easy to read/ navigate, able to clear recent list one by one, & when traveling give picture of exits. Only problem is no attachment to hold. We like stand (tried 2 different types) but too heavy so when turn falls over. Need to keep hand on. Most truckers I talk too put in cubbyhole dash & find like best even with this challenge.

Truck driver and tech enthusiast here... It's hard finding a gps that creates the best route for every trip while taking into consideration your custom areas of avoidance and preferences but I'll let you know that this does that plus more. You have options to add a stop(or show the closest truck stop, parking or rest area) quickly and safely. The voice assistant for hands-free search and routing comes in clutch for me. I use the POI factory and download the user-updated list of TA's, Flying J's/Pilot's and the POI loader(for Garmin) to keep my essential places search at arm's length.

The Garmin dezl 770 is ideal for pulling my 39 foot travel trailer, especially through dense city traffic. I'm able to enter my vehicle and trailer's length, height, and weight so that I'm warned of low overpasses and low weight rated bridges. It also informs me of fueling stations that are able to accommodate my vehicle and trailer size. I used to travel only using my iPhone, but I knew that would not work when pulling a long trailer.

Easy to use, big/small enough at the same time, without blocking front view.

I purchased this GPS for over the road truck driving. This is by far the best GPS systems I have ever owned. It has all the bells and whistles of safely getting to your destination. It has everything from lane assist to truck stops. If you are looking for a GPS system this is the ticket.
