Customer Ratings & Reviews

“I’ve been using the Garmin OTR 720 for a few months now, and it’s a total game-changer for truckers. The large, clear display is perfect on the road — super easy to read even in bright sunlight. What I love most is the custom truck routing based on size and weight — it avoids low bridges and tight streets like a pro. The live traffic updates and weather alerts are life-saving when you’re running tight on time. Also, pairing it with the Garmin Drive app makes it even more efficient. It’s reliable, fast, and definitely worth every dollar.”

My 3rd one in 9 years won't buy any other thank you Best Buy for having it in stock.

Works great, easy install, works alot better than rand mcnally, and has better customer service too. Will recommend this to all my trucker friends

It's a pretty good price. Sometimes they sell them for 800 bucks.

I’m a truck driver, this GPS works perfectly for truck drivers. The Clarence on Bridges is a reminder the large letters make it easy to see. also, very easy to operate.

My first truck GPS was a Rand McNally and it was trash. Garmin is the way to go

I've been using it for two weeks and haven't had any problems with the Garmin GPS. Best Buy is the best place to buy it; their prices are the best.

We love this garmin. It has been very helpful when traveling off road in our Blazer.

Excellent product for an incredibly affordable price. Totally satisfied with my purchase. Best product for the best price.

Excellent logbook, my husband bought it for his truck, works great, I recommend buying it.

The navigator turns off often, there are also problems with the address when you send via Bluetooth, it also overloads itself to factory settings, I do not recommend this model in general

As a professional truck driver, I have had a great experience with the Garmin dēzl OTR720. I’ve used several GPS units over the years, and this one has quickly become one of my favorites. The 7-inch display is large, clear, and easy to read while driving, and the truck-specific routing helps keep me on roads that are suitable for my truck and trailer. What I enjoy most is how easy it is to use. The directions are accurate, the route planning is straightforward, and the GPS provides useful information that truckers need every day, such as truck parking, fuel stops, weigh stations, and rest areas. It has helped me save time and reduce the stress of navigating unfamiliar routes. The unit has been reliable and performs well on long hauls. I appreciate the real-time updates and the additional trucking features that make life on the road easier. It gives me confidence that I am taking the best route for my equipment and load. I definitely enjoy using this product and would highly recommend it to any truck driver, whether you’re new to the industry or have years of experience behind the wheel. The Garmin dēzl OTR720 is a solid investment and a valuable tool for anyone who spends their days on the road.

This 7-inch trucking GPS is an absolute powerhouse and has already made my life on the road significantly easier and less stressful. The first thing you notice is the screen. It's a bright, crisp 7-inch display that is incredibly easy to read, even in direct sunlight . The touchscreen is responsive, and the interface is intuitive, so I spend less time fiddling with menus and more time focused on the road. But the real magic is in the truck-specific features. I love that I can input my exact truck profile—height, weight, length, and width—and the Garmin calculates a route that keeps me away from low bridges and roads that aren't truck-friendly . The alerts for upcoming sharp curves, steep grades, and bridge heights give me that extra peace of mind to anticipate what's ahead . The BirdsEye satellite imagery is another feature I didn't know I needed until I had it. Being able to see a high-resolution aerial view of a loading dock or a security gate before I arrive is a massive stress reliever . It helps me plan my approach and avoid any last-minute confusion at a new customer's location. I also really appreciate the community insights. Using the dēzl app, I can find trucker-rated parking and see where other drivers are successfully finding spots and loading docks . The wind speed overlay is a great safety addition, and tools like the CAT Scale locator and PrePass notifications just add to the overall efficiency . Some might say it's a bit of an investment, but for anyone driving a big rig for a living, the Garmin dezl OTR720 is indispensable. It's reliable, packed with features designed for us, and has seriously reduced the mental fatigue of navigating complex routes. If you're on the fence, just get it. You won't regret it.

As a Truck driver Excellent GPS in my 15 years of career..When you connect with Bluetooth you can see traffic alert and refirect you away from traffic if truck allowed routes are available. Big screen and USB connection comes with a decent connection outlet. If you upadate Maps often tgen you good to go on road

The Garmin Dezl works as designed. Overall it is a great product. The navigation accuracy is spot on when getting from point A to point B and.evwrything in between. I rated it a 4 because I used a Rand McNally before the Dezl and it takes a little time to learn how to navigate the menus compared to the Rand McNally.

I love it this gps is works perfect so far . I will love if the app give a chance to see same option ups has it.

I really like my garmin, it does the job, i kinda wish i would have got the 12inch just because it's a bigger screen but the 7in is good for the buck i recommend this gps to any trucker gets u anywhere u need to go...........

Great trucking gps For the money. Perfect size. It’s great product

It’s a well made device, like the way you can send the address to the GPS from your phone. I had a Garmin for 12 years plus and it still work, the only reason I brought this one was that the older model one just wouldn’t update
