I have bought 3 of these particular Garmin models, mine and two for my grandchildren. Great size screen, the easy Garmin system, free lifetime updates, bluetooth connection to smart phone option. A lot of setting options. The visuals are easy to follow. I use my Garmin rather than the gps on my car. Easier to follow and more accurate. I bought this 61 model for the larger screen and many setting options and bluetooth to phone for hands-free calling. Great for grandchildren with no phone bluetooth in their older cars. This is a gift to each of my grandchildren as they start driving and get their own cars. My contribution for peace of mind to help guide them and protect them, especially when they travel and go to college. I recommend Garmin and have been pleased with this model.

Bought this GPS to replace an old TomTom that my wife uses. This is definitely much quicker at calculating and finding a signal/location. A little disappointed I didn't see that the traffic cable wasn't included. The connection to the phone works but is a bit tricky. I ended up buying the power cable instead of sending this back.

We needed a new GPS and purchased this because of the screen size. The traffic updates are a joke. You need to connect to your phone or purchase an additional power cord for $70.00.

Read almost 10 other reviews. Were replacing some great but old Cerwin Vegas and wanted a deep rich sound. These delivered IF you use a sub woofer

The initial setup was relatively easy, and once functioning, the multiple features of the GPS worked as intended. The screen size was perfect for my car.

Purchased for my wife. I like the larger screen and touch screen functions work ok. So far I find that live traffic is still better with google maps though

Although it looks like there are a maddening number of settings and options, in the long run, there are all worth while eventually, although not all at the same time. So, get to know your GPS unit and it will help you in so many ways. Also, get the big screen. If you're going to keep the unit for a few years, you may as well make a good impression to the folks you will be seeing on the road.

This Garmin GPS is fast to plan, or replan; and it is so easily readable, but it takes more keystrokes to program than my old, no longer supported, Tom Tom. And the Garmin display does not have current time, nor total distance to destination. Maybe I can adjust settings to include those values; I think they're "nice to have"s. Not a "deal breaker", but definitely a little disappointing.

We've had several Garmins over the years in our company vehicles and this one is a great upgrade to our last one. Nice screen. Easy to use.

Large screen. Multi-functional. Clear voice directions. And love the alerts. Also purchased an in home usb wall adaptor which can enable the unit to be used when walking.

Viewing size is the best, particularly when intersections are coming up.

A little different to setup from TomTom. Seems to work well.
