A: I don’t know what track back is, but if you lose it, there’s a “find my iphone” type feature. Yes you can create your own routes, and although I haven’t tried it for kayaking yet, it would definitely work. That’s a good idea. The bigger screen is great, I upgraded from the 830 to get that.

Q: How long does the battery last ?
A: There are lots of variables, like your location if the GPS has to work harder to track you, auto pause, how many sensors you have connected, ect. I'd say I average around 7-10 hours of ride time with it, not on battery saver.
