This watch has Amoled display, ECG and high detail golf maps. You can scroll through screens with your finger or up/down buttons to see distances to front and back of hazards, greens etc. More golf features than my old S60 golf watch. Easy to glance at accurate outside temp, steps, etc. I have all the GPS and other battery eating features turned on and get 6 days per charge. ECG was easy, no straps, the watch does it all, then it can be downloaded if you need to share it. 47mm, my wrist is probably smaller than avg. No problem viewing in bright light. The screen is a little brighter than it appears in the photos.

I am very happy with the watch. I took it with me in vacation on different environments and did a great job. The altimeter help me out a lot along with the barometer in tough situations so i give the watch a really good rating so far. I am still learning how to use because is my first Garmin product.

I upgraded from a Fenix 6 Pro. Some positives from the upgrade: 1. the AMOLED screen is brighter and more colorful than the MIPS. You do sacrifice battery time but to me, it's worth the trade-off in screen quality. 2. Maps come per-loaded. However, golf course and ski maps are not allowed to be deleted for some reason. I don't ski or golf so it's annoying that I can't free up the space for other apps or music files. 3. the bluetooth receiver is 1000x better. On my F6 Pro, my BT headphones would disconnect quite often and the range was so-so. 4. The wrist HR monitor is just as good as my chest based HRM. It's so good that I stopped wearing my chest HRM. 5. The running dynamics are a nice feature. Before, you had to use a Garmin Pro HRM chest strap in order to get running dynamics. Really, no negatives. If I had to mention one, I would say that the buttons are not as tactile as the F6 Pro. But it hasn't been an issue for me now that I have gotten used to it.

Ive been an Apple Fan Boy since the beginning. Ive own almost every single watch but the battery life was my biggest complaint. I wanted something to track my workouts and longer battery life. The Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 is a great transition from Apple. The screen is beautiful. A definite win in my book.

This watch has a beast for a battery. Battery life is 6days - 16days or 21days depending how you are using it. I am usually at 16days and it actually last 16days as it says. As far as functions on the watch I have not even begun to tap into its capability. The sleep monitor links with your life battery witch uses your sleep quality, your life style, and monitors your stress level to show you your life battery. This seems to be a very trivial function but, I came to realize I need to start changing things in my life like my sleep quality, my stress levels and so on. I was all ways the guy that said I am all ways tired, I slept good last night. Come to find out I am a wake a lot in the night and did not even realize it. I wear a CPAP which also monitors your sleep pattern. I found out that it does not take in consideration times in the night you wake up slightly to the point you do not realize it. I am working on stress relivers and ways to improve my sleep quality. When it comes to the GPS well, I have just begun to learn its capabilities. Tracking, Expeditions, navigation, maps it is endless and you are thinking but what can you really make out on it. I was amazed you can zoom in or out and it is crazy clear. I can go on for days on how I feel about this watch, but I will leave you with this if you are looking for a watch that will actually change your life, this is it!!!

Great upgrade coming from a long time Fenix user. Software, insights and battery make it a better choice vs Apple’s Ultra 2.
