Fantastic—The Perfect Mix of Athlete + Everyday Watch I absolutely love this Garmin Fenix 8 (51mm AMOLED). The screen is gorgeous—bright, sharp, and so much easier to read. Battery life is amazing too. Even with the always-on AMOLED display, regular workouts, notifications, and daily use, it just keeps going. It delivers outstanding performance not only for running and other movement-based activities, but also for sleep tracking and strength training. The strength-training features are especially impressive: the watch automatically detects most exercises and logs them accurately, and you can easily adjust weights or correct any misidentified movements afterward in Garmin Connect. The 51mm size is on the larger side, so it may feel big on a smaller wrist; however, it fits perfectly for me. It’s definitely a premium-priced device, but if you’re considering an upgrade, this is absolutely worth it—especially if you can catch it on sale.

Upgraded from an apple watch 6. This is a fantastic smartwatch and I am very happy I got it. It looks great and gets lots of complements. The battery lasts forever even in always on mode. It's durable for hiking and great for diving, and as with all garmin devices, the gps is fantastic. The only complaint I can think of is the number of apps you need on your phone to get access to all of the features, at least if you are using an iphone. It seems like every time I try to activate a new feature it has me download a new garmin app.
