After my aging Samsung Active2's screen finally broke I figured it would be time to get a new smartwatch now that I also have money set aside for things like this. While I was originally thinking about another Samsung option after talking with my dad about his experience using his Garmin smartwatch and seeing complaints about battery life in the traditional "smartwatch" lineups I decided to go for this especially after seeing the price. So far it is been a great experience. Setting it up took some trial and error but once it was going using it was very straightforward. I was not expecting the broad suite of functions it offers on the health side and was honestly just going to use it to track runs and set alarms. So far I also use it for sleep monitoring and workout planning which has helped me recover and train smarter prior to races. All in all far better than my previous smartwatch from 2019 and with more battery life than I could ever need.

I love this watch, its my first and have been using it for my marathon training. The GPS is super accurate, and its been on point letting me know how my sleep is and how my body is ready for training. It hasn't failed me on that data yet. It is pricey, but the convenience for running and statistics is well worth it. I have my Garmin linked to my Runna and Strava, so I can start my workouts on my watch and it will upload them to Runna and Strava, making it super easy to use. The only issue I have with it, is theres a software bug, where the screen will glitch out. You have to restart your watch to fix it, but any recording you're doing will pause and resume once your watch reboots which is super nice!

Initially I had some weird battery issue where it lasted maybe 3 hours after charge, but after the second charge it lasts for over a week. They are both national champ level runners so this watch is perfect for them to track their workouts with! It is def not for people that don't run, wasted features. If you're a runner its a great mid level watch, especially for kids!
