This watch has all the functions I need and has great battery life. It’s light weight and fits well. I don’t benefit much from the solar power function on a daily basis since I work indoors, but it’s a neat feature and will be useful for my upcoming vacations. You need to spend about 3 hours in direct sunlight to gain 1 day of battery life back. My husband works outside and has the solar version as well so he really benefits from it. The Neo Tropic adds a nice pop of color. I appreciate Garmin having the smaller versions of their watches as I have a small wrist. Overall, very happy with this watch as well as with all the other Garmin watches I’ve owned! They make great products!

Dont waste your money. This watch was expensive and is not smart or efficient. This is only a black and white screen. The solar function doesn't work. I have had consistent pairing issues. The fact you have to plug this into a computer also shows how outdated the technology is. I have tried to work with Garmin, and the client experience has been horrendous. I will never purchase any Garmin product moving forward.

Very similar to the Instinct 2 solar regular size. My wrist is small approx 6 inch circumference but this watch band was made for child or youth, could barely buckle it on. The screen is also quite small so for the sake of seeing it for its functions I would recommend going with the regular version. Great watch just not great for adults :)

I bought for my wife as a christmas gift and she absolutely loves it! The battery life is phenomenal and she cant wait to test out the mapping feauture

Love the new updated version of this watch compared to my venue 2. The features really help me stay focused on my fitness goals.
