So far so good, I like the fact that I don’t have to worry it breaking the glass, sustains it’s charge, and also dint know it was water resistant n that’s a plus for me so I don’t have to remove it all the time while washing dishes . Pretty good watch am glad I can truck my steps and also it was affordable.

I really want it to like this so called smart watch. It has some cool features and really bridges the gap between smart watch and hybrid . Battery life is amazing. It seems like it has everything I was looking for in a smart watch except for the touchscreen. I really wanted a touch screen. But no dealbreaker. I did not like the fact that my sleep was not being monitored correctly especially after trying some of the other options out there in the past I slept during the afternoon one day and I did not monitor my sleep at all. I thought I would use the esports feature but I let it fall by the wayside. This watch is for someone out there but that someone is it me. I am definitely taking this back.

This watch does everything i need it to do without being over complicated. I’m constantly in the gym so being able to count my calories now really helps. But i use the esports widget when i do 5-6 hour gaming sessions which is a nice little feature.I’d definitely buy another one in the future.

Replaced my Apple Watch with this gem. I like the durability and the battery life is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I took mine on a 5 day hunt. Using the "breadcrumbs" GPS feature (without phone connected), weather, and other features it still was at 1/2 charge when I got home. I like the physical buttons and the "find my phone" actually pings the phone until you find it.... not once so you have to button smash your wrist.... (cough cough....Apple). BUY THIS WATCH if your about having something that actually works and has useful features. DO NOT buy this watch if your hipster friends will ridicule you for spending money on something "non apple" because they "fight the machine."

Had for almost 2 years now. None of my fitbits lasted that long. It has gotten wet, dropped, banged against the wall… I’m very clumsy. It’s still working along with all the features. App is very easy to use.

This watch has everything I need to monitor my activity and daily caloric output. I have worn it in the sauna, as it's rated to go up to 140 F, and have had no problem whatsoever. I got the watch for the shock absorption, as I train in martial arts and wanted to have a watch that could monitor my heart rate and not break due to force, as Samsung watches have broken during training before. This watch is as resistant as it claims to be.

I have had this almost 2 years. Great battery life. Good metrics with the app. I think this isn't as intuitive to use as other watches so I am not giving it 5 stars. I feel like I need a class on how to use all the features. I know, I know. There's the interwebs but the videos are all over the place with information. The wrist band never stays in place even with the 2 band loop thingies. One just broke. I wish there was an option to get a velcro wrist band so it would fit better on my wrist.

Full disclosure, 1 reason I am writing this review is because Best Buy give you points that can be redeem for coupons. However, this watch is everything you want it to be at a affordable price. If you want it to be treated more as a smart watch, it has all kinds of functions (some I still keep discovering) Or if your like me and just like a old fashion looking watch with a few bells in whistles, then this is perfect for you. Absolutely love 10 out of 10 Would highly recommend -Battery lasts about a week. I usually charge every Saturday night -Seems pretty durable. I work a blue color job and have yet to crack the screen -as comfortable as any other watch I’ve owned

Replaced a Fitbit Charge 3. Improved HR tracking, notifications that reliably work, and much more readable display. Battery life tends to last me 1.5-3 weeks between charges depending on how much I use it. Even 5% backlighting is adequate for nighttime use. I prefer the old-style LCD display as it sips power and I rarely have to take off the watch. Haven't use the Esports feature but seems like a nice-to-have if you stream. I have noticed that items like sleep tracking and body battery are less reliable if you keep odd hours (e.g. changing between day and night shifts, midshifts) but if you keep a regular schedule they seem pretty accurate.

I switched from a Samsung active 2 to this garmin instinct esports. And it does a better job of tracking my steps and stairs. And alot of other functions. Really easy to setup. Great better life

This was a gift for my son, over a year and the watch still working as new. Lot of features. Great watch. Recommend

Great watch for running, hiking, and weightlifting. The large screen makes it easy to see my pace, splits and total time working out. I appreciate how light the watch is. Tactile buttons are big plus over a touchscreen. I never feel like I'm fumbling around when navigating menus in the middle of a workout (even with guide gloves on!)

I purchased for my daughter and she loves it! It is lightweight and large. Easy to read at a glance. Battery lasts about 2 weeks before recharge. Durable and accurate. You must install app to read overall metrics for the week for instance. Accuracy results appear to match all activities. Altimeter seems accurate too as we live in the high desert.

Fancy smartwatches these days have bright screens and a lot of things to drain the battery away. Not this watch, since there is no touchscreen and everything is in b/w, the battery lasts an amazing long time (days). There is even a backlight button which reminds me of all the Casio watches I used to have. I am willing to call these watches "detox" just like the basic phones people buy nowadays for the same reason. Yet, while it is basic looking, it does have a hefty amount of features. It can read any sort of notification on my iPhone, even discord messages. With a WearOS (the google smartwatches), you can't do that. It can display any notification coming in, albeit you have to press the buttons to view them which I think might be annoying for those used to touchscreen (but I love it). I don't really have anything to say about the sport and activities feature, they are decent at least and not off by a lot. I tried the esport feature which I don't see a lot of people here mentioned, even downloaded and streamed with their STR3AMUP software to show my heartbeat on stream. I don't think it's very accurate, but its a cool feature to have and see.

Literally the only thing this watch can't do that it's competition does, is allow customization of the interface. Smartwatches with touchscreens just aren't worth it compared to this. Not until they get a lot cheaper, at least.
