A great watch that is made for the outdoors and indoors. Bluetooth connection makes software updates easy. Connects to GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO Satellites. This watch sits too many things to list individually. Exercises, hiking tracking to name a few. Solar powered and cable charging. I charged with cable and while being outside and using GPS Tracking on occasion I still have 21 days of battery life. The battery lasts and lasts, especially if you can get some sun. Highly recommend if you are an outdoors person. Still works great indoors with clear display and vibration alerts.

Great watch, love the ruggedness of it and the fact I don’t have to charge it every night.

The watch has some cool features, but the altitude didn’t track properly after the first hike, and the gps navigation didn’t always give me proper map guidance, could have been the maps I downloaded. The solar power definitely added a lot of life to the battery, and it has a lot of data that is connected through the app. Overall a decent fitness watch but nothing shnazzy

Wow. Nice watch. 1st full charge last 3 weeks for me and my husband almost 5 weeks [he works outside]. Rugged looking and the options for working out is amazing.

This watch is an excellent choice for those who want a smartwatch focused on moving and exercise. The Solar helps a little to extend the battery life if you're outside often enough for it to make a difference, but othwerwise is just an interesting experiment in making our devices last longer. And the color just adds to its uniqueness.

Love this watch for all of my outdoor activities and ultra runs! It's got an insanely long battery life. As a normal day-to-day Apple user, it took me some time to adjust to the Garmin and the interface. In addition, I definitely had to get used to a non-touch screen watch. Once I got the hang of this watch, it's my go to tracker for any water, outdoor, and endurance activities.

In less than a year the unit suddenly shuts off even when newly charged, contacted Garmin, they sent me a new replacement and the same problem occurred after using the unit for a couple of months. Trying to contact garmin again but this time no reply.

A wonderful smart/activity watch. It charges quickly and will last for days along with the solar capabilities.

The Garmin Instinct solar is really great, but maybe not as "fancy" as some might want. So far I loved it.
